The Secret Agenda of Mind Control
Please note: the letters and numbers after each paragraph denote the book and page number from which the mind control information was taken. BB—Bluebird MC—Mind Controllers NB—A Nation Betrayed.
A declassified CIA document dated 7 Jan 1953 [1] describes the creation of multiple personality in 19-year old girls. “These subjects have clearly demonstrated that they can pass from a fully awake state to a deep H [hypnotic] controlled state ... by telephone, by receiving written matter, or by the use of code, signal, or words and that control of those hypnotized can be passed from one individual to another without great difficulty. It has also been shown by experimentation with these girls that they can act as unwilling couriers for information purposes.” BB 32
Under the provisions of the National Security Act of 1947, the CIA was established. One of the main areas investigated by the CIA was mind control. The behavior control program was motivated by Soviet, Chinese, and North Korean use of mind control techniques. The CIA originated its first program in 1950 under the name BLUEBIRD. MKULTRA officially began in 1953. In 1973, tipped off about forthcoming investigations, CIA Director Richard Helms ordered the destruction of any MKULTRA records. [2] MC 3, 10, 17
The Senate Intelligence Committee did find some records during its investigation in 1976. Senator Frank Church, who led the congressional investigations of the CIA’s unlawful actions, said that the agency was “a rogue elephant” operating above the law as it plotted assassinations, illegally spied on thousands of Americans, and even drugged citizens in its effort to develop new weapons for its covert arsenal. [3] In 1977, through a Freedom of Information Act request, 16,000 pages of mind control documents were found as part of the Agency’s financial history. That is how this information has been pieced together. MC 5, 18, NB xvi, 38
The CIA Mind Control Projects
A CIA document dated 10 Feb 1954 [4] describes an experiment on the creation of unsuspecting assassins: “Miss [deleted] was then instructed (having expressed a fear of firearms) that she would use every method at her disposal to awaken Miss [deleted] (now in a deep hypnotic sleep) and failing this, she would pick up a pistol and fire it at Miss [deleted]. She was instructed that she would not hesitate to “kill.” Miss [deleted] carried out these suggestions including firing the (unloaded) gun at [deleted]. After proper suggestions were made, both were awakened. Miss [deleted] expressed absolute denial that the foregoing sequence had happened.” BB 36, 37
MKULTRA grew into a mammoth undertaking. The nature of the research included these specific problems:
Can we create by post-H (hypnotic) control an action contrary to an individual’s basic moral principles?
Can we “alter” a person’s personality? Can we guarantee total amnesia under any and all conditions?
Could we seize a subject and in the space of an hour by post-H control have him crash an airplane?
Can we devise a system for making unwilling subjects into willing agents and then transfer that control to untrained agency agents in the field by use of codes or identifying signs? NB 13, 14, 28 [5]
In a 1971 Science Digest article [6], Dr. G.H. Estabrooks states, “By the 1920’s clinical hypnotists learned to split certain individuals into multiple personalities like Jeckyl-Hydes. During WWII, I worked this technique with a Marine lieutenant I’ll call Jones. I split his personality into Jones A and Jones B. Jones A, once a ‘normal’ Marine, became entirely different. He talked communist doctrine and meant it. He was welcomed enthusiastically by communist cells, and was deliberately given a dishonorable discharge. Jones B was the deeper personality, knew all the thoughts of Jones A, and was ‘imprinted’ to say nothing during conscious phases. All I had to do was hypnotize him, get in touch with Jones B, and I had a pipeline straight into the Communist camp.” BB 167-169 For more on CIA mind control projects, click here.
Dr. Jose Delgado, a neurosurgeon and Yale professor, [7][8][9] received funding for brain electrode research on children and adults. In the 1950s, he developed a miniature electrode placed within an individual’s cranium capable of receiving and transmitting electronic signals. Delgado was able to control the movements of his subjects by pushing buttons on a remote transmitter. He demonstrated by wiring a fully-grown bull. With the device in place, Delgado stepped into the ring with the bull. The animal charged towards the experimenter – and then suddenly stopped, just before it reached him. The powerful beast had been stopped with the simple action of pushing a button on a small box held in Delgado’s hand. [10] MC 147, BB 88
The Mind Control Doctors
In the second half of the 20th century, mind control projects resulted in extensive political abuse of psychiatry. Many thousands were subjected to unethical mind control experiments by leading psychiatrists and medical schools. Mind control experimentation was not only tolerated by medical professionals, but published in psychiatric and medical journals. Dr. William Sweet participated in both brain electrode implant experiments and the injection of uranium into medical patients at Harvard University. [11][12] Army doctors were involved in LSD testing at least until the late 1970’s. Subjects of LSD experiments included children as young as five years old, and brain electrodes were implanted in children as young as 11 years of age. BB, pg. K, 1, 21
Linda MacDonald was a victim of Dr. Ewen Cameron’s [13][14][15][16] destructive mind control experiments in 1963. Dr. Cameron was president of the American and World Psychiatric Associations. He used a “treatment” which involved intensive application of these brainwashing techniques; drug disinhibition, prolonged sleep, and prolonged psychological isolation. These were combined with ECT [Electro Convulsive Therapy]. [17][18][19] The amount of electricity introduced into Linda’s brain exceeded by 76.5 times the maximum amount recommended. Dr. Cameron’s technique resulted in permanent and complete amnesia. A class action suit against the CIA for Dr. Cameron’s MKULTRA experiments was settled out of court for $750,000, divided among eight plaintiffs in 1988. The concepts involved in manipulating behavior are found by many people both within and outside the Agency [CIA] to be distasteful and unethical. Nevertheless, there have been major accomplishments both in research and operational employment. Over the ten-year life of the program many additional avenues to the control of human behavior have been designated under the MKULTRA charter, including radiation, electro-shock, and harassment substances. Some activities raise questions of legality implicit in the original charter. A final phase of the testing places the rights and interests of US citizens in jeopardy.
Technical Services Division initiated a program for covert testing of materials on unwitting US citizens in 1955. TSD has pursued a philosophy of minimum documentation in keeping with the high sensitivity of the projects. Some files contained little or no data at all. I am the beginning. I am the end. I am the emissary. But the original time I was on the Planet Earth was 34,000 of your years ago. I am the balance. And when I say "I" - I mean because I am an emissary for The Nine. It is not I , but it is the group. We are nine principles of the Universe, yet together we are one.
The declaration above is typical of the channeled pronouncements of the Council of Nine - or just ’The Nine’. They contain all the usual New Age ingredients of grandiose statements, shaky grammar and unprovable predictions. But unlike all the other channeling cults, that of The Nine has serious clout. Perhaps the reason for this is that they claim to be the Ennead, or the nine major gods of ancient Egypt. Or could there be another reason, one that owes more to The X-Files than the Pyramid Texts? Although The Nine may appear to be quintessentially a modern phenomenon, our research uncovered its truly astonishing pedigree. In fact, the story begins nearly 50 years ago, in a private research laboratory in Glen Cove, Maine, called the Round Table Foundation, run by a medical doctor named Andrija Puharich (also known as Henry K Puharich - image left).
Set up in 1948 to research the paranormal, among the noted psychics studied at the Foundation were the famous Irish medium Eileen Garrett and the Dutch clairvoyant Peter Hurkos (Pieter van de Hirk). Prominent members included the influential philosopher and inventor Arthur M Young and the socialite Alice Bouverie (née Astor).
In December 1952, Puharich brought into his laboratory an Indian mystic named Dr D G Vinod, who began to channel The Nine or ’the Nine Principles’. In the months before Vinod returned to India, a group met regularly to hear The Nine’s channelled wisdom. Never known for their modesty, The Nine proclaimed themselves to be God, stating "God is nobody else than we together, the Nine Principles of God."
Three years later, there appeared to be independent confirmation of their existence. In Mexico, Puharich and Young met Charles and Lillian Laughead, former Christian missionaries who were by then prominent in the burgeoning UFO contactee movement. (For a description of their involvement in the Dorothy Martin circle, see Jerome Clark’s ’When Prophecy Failed’). Back in the States a few weeks later, Puharich received a letter from the Laugheads containing messages received by their group’s channeller. This message also claimed to come from the Nine Principles, even - amazingly - including references to the earlier communications transmitted through Dr Vinod. Could The Nine possibly be for real?
Perhaps the answer is embedded in the career of Puharich himself. After disbanding the Round Table Foundation in 1958, he worked for 10 years as an inventor of medical devices and achieved international recognition as a parapsychologist, most famously studying the Brazilian psychic surgeon, Arigo (José Pedro de Freitas). But all that was to pale into insignificance because, in 1971, Puharich discovered Uri Geller.
At their first meetings in Tel Aviv in 1971, Puharich hypnotized Geller in an attempt to find out where his abilities came from. As a result, the young Israeli started to channel ’Spectra’ - an entity which claimed to be a conscious super-computer aboard a spaceship. However, Puharich suggested to him that there might be a connection with the Nine Principles, and Spectra readily agreed that there was. The Nine claimed that they had programmed Geller with his powers as a young child.
Through Geller, The Nine alerted Puharich to his life’s mission, which was to use Geller’s talents to alert the world to an imminent mass landing of spaceships that would bring representatives of The Nine. However, Geller - by now an international psychic superstar - bowed out in 1973 and has resolutely turned his back on The Nine ever since. Puharich had to find other channels. He joined up with aristocratic former racing driver Sir John Whitmore and Florida-based psychic and healer Phyllis Schlemmer. They found a new channeller - a Daytona cook known to history only by the pseudonym ’Bobby Horne’ - who lived to regret his dealings with The Nine. Driven to the brink of suicide by their constant demands, he too dropped out of the scene - his despair being dismissed by Whitmore as "signs of instability". After this, Phyllis Schlemmer was appointed the authorized spokesperson for the entity - known simply as ’Tom’ - who represented The Nine.
Puharich, Whitmore and Schlemmer then set up Lab Nine at Puharich’s estate in Ossining, New York. The Nine’s disciples included multi-millionaire businessmen (many hiding behind pseudonyms and including members of Canada’s richest family, the Bronfmans), European nobility, scientists from the Stanford Research Institute and at least one prominent political figure who was a personal friend of President Gerald Ford.
We also know that Lyall Watson (then the darling of the alternative scene because of his seminal 1973 book Supernature) was involved, as was the influential counter-culture guru Ira Einhorn - and Gene Roddenberry, creator of Star Trek.
The key to predicting eclipses is noticing that they occur in cycles, or at more or less regular intervals. The Sun goes round the sky once a year; the Moon once a month. This means that, every month, the Moon ’overtakes’ the sun. This happens at the New Moon, and this is when solar eclipses occur. But, of course, we don’t get an eclipse every New Moon. This is because the Moon has an elliptical orbit: sometimes it passes above the Sun when it overtakes it, sometimes below. But the Moon’s elliptical orbit has its own cycle: it returns to the same place it started from every 18 years or so. Thus - if seen from the same place on Earth - an eclipse will be followed by another one just over 18 years later.
Roddenberry (image left) was part of that circle in 1974 and 1975, and even produced the screenplay for a movie about The Nine. How much he was influenced by them is unknown, although it is said that some of their concepts found their way into the early Star Trek movies, and The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine (what a giveaway!) series.
(There is a character named ’Vinod’ in one Deep Space Nine episode.) Another key player in Lab Nine was Dr James J Hurtak, who was appointed Puharich’s second-in-command by The Nine. In fact, Hurtak had been independently channelling The Nine since 1973. Puharich and Whitmore commissioned British writer Stuart Holroyd to write an account of their adventures, which appeared in 1977 as Prelude to the Landing on Planet Earth (re-titled Briefings for the Landing on Planet Earth in paperback.)
In this extraordinary book the true identity of the Nine - and of Tom - was finally revealed. Far from being the chummy character that his rather avuncular name suggests, Tom is actually Atum, the creator-god of the ancient Egyptian religion of Heliopolis, and Uncle Tom with his eight mates are none other than the Great Ennead of Heliopolis.
But even with such impressive contacts, all was not well with Puharich. Lab Nine broke up in 1978 after a series of mysterious events that culminated in an arson attack on the Ossining estate, and he fled to Mexico, claiming that he was being persecuted by the CIA. He returned to the USA two years later, and appears to have played no further part in The Nine story. He died in 1995 after falling down the stairs in his South Carolina home. However, The Nine continued. Not only did Schlemmer and Whitmore continue their mission, but Dr Hurtak has also moved on. He has become a major player in the unfolding millennial drama currently being played out at Giza, but perhaps more importantly he has established himself as a New Age guru par excellence, travelling the world giving workshops on his book of channelled revelations from The Nine, The Keys of Enoch. Written and laid out in classic Biblical style, its darkly apocalyptic vision has huge numbers of influential devotees. This we find very worrying.
Another Nine channel - an Englishwoman named Jenny O’Connor - was introduced to the avant garde Esalen Institute in San Francisco by Sir John Whitmore. She and The Nine became so influential there that they held seminars and - unbelievably - were actually listed on the Institute’s staff, even successfully ordering the sacking of its chief finance officer and the reorganization of its entire management structure..
This should concern us, because many influential people attended The Nine’s Esalen seminars, including Russians who were part of the Institute’s Soviet Exchange programme. Some of these later rose to prominence in the Gorbachev regime and were instrumental in the downfall of Communism. (The Esalen Institute now runs the US branch of the Gorbachev Foundation.)
The Nine are very much still with us. One of their recent channels, who is also in contact with Tom, is the American writer David M Myers. He is co-author with Britain’s David S Percy of that extraordinary tome Two-Thirds, a history of the galaxy and the human race according to Myer’s otherwordly contacts (who clearly have no sense of the absurd). Percy - best known as a champion of the ’Face on Mars’ and the ’hoaxing’ of the Apollo moon landings - was at one time part of the Schlemmer circle. Among the other major proponents of the ’monuments’ of Mars and their alleged connection with ancient Egypt is none other than Dr James Hurtak - The Nine’s great prophet - who has promoted this idea since as long ago as 1973.
Richard C Hoagland - familiar to FT readers as another unrepentant ’Mars Face’ enthusiast - is also clearly under The Nine’s spell. David Myers and David Percy were, respectively, American and European Director of Operations for Hoagland’s Mars Mission. In fact, his interpretation of the ’monuments’ of Mars comes directly from The Nine. Flake though he may appear (increasingly in these hallowed pages), but his influence over huge swathes of the hungrier mystery seekers is undeniable. This is the man who addresses rapt audiences at the United Nations.
But it is in the New Age channelling circuit that The Nine have truly come into their own. In any other circles their true agenda would no doubt have been rumbled long ago, but this is the New Age. Anything The Nine say must be sweetness and light, right? But an objective reading of their divine pronouncements reveal the first stirrings of something very nasty in Paradise.
Their words appeared in 1992 as the book The Only Planet of Choice, credited to ’transceiver’ Schlemmer and edited by Mary Bennett (a one-time member of the Schlemmer circle who also edited Myers and Percy’s Two-Thirds). This has had an unprecedented influence over the New Age. According to Palden Jenkins (editor of an earlier edition of Only Planet) more and more New Age channelling groups are ’realizing’ that the real source of their wisdom is The Nine. In fact, we have discerned what amounts to a campaign by The Nine - or their adherents - to ’take over’ the New Age. It would be a mistake to underestimate the economic or even political potential of this vast subculture - rich pickings indeed.
But The Nine’s influence does not extend merely to New Age channelling circles. Andrija Puharich, James Hurtak and Richard Hoagland have all lectured at the United Nations in New York. And individuals connected with The Nine are also known to have influence with Vice-President Al Gore. Of course, if The Nine really are the ancient gods of Egypt, then surely there could be fewer more significant events than their return. One may be justified in thinking that the more leading politicians who fall under their influence the better; but are they really the ancient Ennead of Egypt? Can it be that they have actually returned to sort us all out, scattering love and enlightenment from their high moral ground?
Tom, in The Only Planet of Choice, chooses his words carefully as he explains that all the races of the Earth were seeded from space-gods - except one, the "indigenous race", the blacks. He is very careful to urge us not to make an issue out of this. After all, it’s not the black race’s fault that they have no divine spark like the rest of us.
Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of the history of The Nine is its relationship to the career of Andrija Puharich. Recent research has revealed Puharich to have a distinctly sinister side. As an Army doctor in the 1950s, he was deeply involved with the CIA’s notorious MKULTRA mind control project. He - together with the infamous Dr Sidney Gottlieb - experimented with a variety of techniques to change or induce actual thought processes. even to creating the impression of voices in the head. These techniques included the use of drugs, hypnosis and beaming radio signals directly into the subject’s brain.
And, significantly, he was engaged in this work at exactly the same time that The Nine made their first appearance at the Round Table Foundation. The Foundation itself is now known to have been largely funded by the Pentagon as a front for its medical and parapsychological research. Puharich was still working for the CIA in the early 1970s, when he brought Uri Geller out of Israel. Puharich’s use of hypnosis is particularly interesting in The Nine circle. In the case of Uri Geller and Bobby Horne, he first hypnotized them and then suggested that they were in touch with The Nine - and so, they were! Ira Einhorn - a close associate of Puharich’s during the 1970s - confirmed to us that he believed that Puharich was "humanly directing" The Nine communications.
The evidence we have gathered strongly suggests that Tom and his fellow gods originated, not in the stars, but behind closed doors as part of a CIA mind control experiment. And what happened to that experiment? Now with hundreds of thousands of devotees, some in very high places, can The Nine be deemed a success? I am the beginning. I am the end. I am the emissary. But the original time I was on the Planet Earth was 34,000 of your years ago. I am the balance. And when I say "I" - I mean because I am an emissary for The Nine. It is not I , but it is the group. We are nine principles of the Universe, yet together we are one.
The declaration above is typical of the channeled pronouncements of the Council of Nine - or just ’The Nine’. They contain all the usual New Age ingredients of grandiose statements, shaky grammar and unprovable predictions. But unlike all the other channeling cults, that of The Nine has serious clout. Perhaps the reason for this is that they claim to be the Ennead, or the nine major gods of ancient Egypt. Or could there be another reason, one that owes more to The X-Files than the Pyramid Texts? Although The Nine may appear to be quintessentially a modern phenomenon, our research uncovered its truly astonishing pedigree. In fact, the story begins nearly 50 years ago, in a private research laboratory in Glen Cove, Maine, called the Round Table Foundation, run by a medical doctor named Andrija Puharich (also known as Henry K Puharich - image left).
Set up in 1948 to research the paranormal, among the noted psychics studied at the Foundation were the famous Irish medium Eileen Garrett and the Dutch clairvoyant Peter Hurkos (Pieter van de Hirk). Prominent members included the influential philosopher and inventor Arthur M Young and the socialite Alice Bouverie (née Astor).
In December 1952, Puharich brought into his laboratory an Indian mystic named Dr D G Vinod, who began to channel The Nine or ’the Nine Principles’. In the months before Vinod returned to India, a group met regularly to hear The Nine’s channelled wisdom. Never known for their modesty, The Nine proclaimed themselves to be God, stating "God is nobody else than we together, the Nine Principles of God."
Three years later, there appeared to be independent confirmation of their existence. In Mexico, Puharich and Young met Charles and Lillian Laughead, former Christian missionaries who were by then prominent in the burgeoning UFO contactee movement. (For a description of their involvement in the Dorothy Martin circle, see Jerome Clark’s ’When Prophecy Failed’). Back in the States a few weeks later, Puharich received a letter from the Laugheads containing messages received by their group’s channeller. This message also claimed to come from the Nine Principles, even - amazingly - including references to the earlier communications transmitted through Dr Vinod. Could The Nine possibly be for real?
Perhaps the answer is embedded in the career of Puharich himself. After disbanding the Round Table Foundation in 1958, he worked for 10 years as an inventor of medical devices and achieved international recognition as a parapsychologist, most famously studying the Brazilian psychic surgeon, Arigo (José Pedro de Freitas). But all that was to pale into insignificance because, in 1971, Puharich discovered Uri Geller.
At their first meetings in Tel Aviv in 1971, Puharich hypnotized Geller in an attempt to find out where his abilities came from. As a result, the young Israeli started to channel ’Spectra’ - an entity which claimed to be a conscious super-computer aboard a spaceship. However, Puharich suggested to him that there might be a connection with the Nine Principles, and Spectra readily agreed that there was. The Nine claimed that they had programmed Geller with his powers as a young child.
Through Geller, The Nine alerted Puharich to his life’s mission, which was to use Geller’s talents to alert the world to an imminent mass landing of spaceships that would bring representatives of The Nine. However, Geller - by now an international psychic superstar - bowed out in 1973 and has resolutely turned his back on The Nine ever since. Puharich had to find other channels. He joined up with aristocratic former racing driver Sir John Whitmore and Florida-based psychic and healer Phyllis Schlemmer. They found a new channeller - a Daytona cook known to history only by the pseudonym ’Bobby Horne’ - who lived to regret his dealings with The Nine. Driven to the brink of suicide by their constant demands, he too dropped out of the scene - his despair being dismissed by Whitmore as "signs of instability". After this, Phyllis Schlemmer was appointed the authorized spokesperson for the entity - known simply as ’Tom’ - who represented The Nine.
Puharich, Whitmore and Schlemmer then set up Lab Nine at Puharich’s estate in Ossining, New York. The Nine’s disciples included multi-millionaire businessmen (many hiding behind pseudonyms and including members of Canada’s richest family, the Bronfmans), European nobility, scientists from the Stanford Research Institute and at least one prominent political figure who was a personal friend of President Gerald Ford.
We also know that Lyall Watson (then the darling of the alternative scene because of his seminal 1973 book Supernature) was involved, as was the influential counter-culture guru Ira Einhorn - and Gene Roddenberry, creator of Star Trek.
The key to predicting eclipses is noticing that they occur in cycles, or at more or less regular intervals. The Sun goes round the sky once a year; the Moon once a month. This means that, every month, the Moon ’overtakes’ the sun. This happens at the New Moon, and this is when solar eclipses occur. But, of course, we don’t get an eclipse every New Moon. This is because the Moon has an elliptical orbit: sometimes it passes above the Sun when it overtakes it, sometimes below. But the Moon’s elliptical orbit has its own cycle: it returns to the same place it started from every 18 years or so. Thus - if seen from the same place on Earth - an eclipse will be followed by another one just over 18 years later.
Roddenberry (image left) was part of that circle in 1974 and 1975, and even produced the screenplay for a movie about The Nine. How much he was influenced by them is unknown, although it is said that some of their concepts found their way into the early Star Trek movies, and The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine (what a giveaway!) series.
(There is a character named ’Vinod’ in one Deep Space Nine episode.) Another key player in Lab Nine was Dr James J Hurtak, who was appointed Puharich’s second-in-command by The Nine. In fact, Hurtak had been independently channelling The Nine since 1973. Puharich and Whitmore commissioned British writer Stuart Holroyd to write an account of their adventures, which appeared in 1977 as Prelude to the Landing on Planet Earth (re-titled Briefings for the Landing on Planet Earth in paperback.)
In this extraordinary book the true identity of the Nine - and of Tom - was finally revealed. Far from being the chummy character that his rather avuncular name suggests, Tom is actually Atum, the creator-god of the ancient Egyptian religion of Heliopolis, and Uncle Tom with his eight mates are none other than the Great Ennead of Heliopolis.
But even with such impressive contacts, all was not well with Puharich. Lab Nine broke up in 1978 after a series of mysterious events that culminated in an arson attack on the Ossining estate, and he fled to Mexico, claiming that he was being persecuted by the CIA. He returned to the USA two years later, and appears to have played no further part in The Nine story. He died in 1995 after falling down the stairs in his South Carolina home. However, The Nine continued. Not only did Schlemmer and Whitmore continue their mission, but Dr Hurtak has also moved on. He has become a major player in the unfolding millennial drama currently being played out at Giza, but perhaps more importantly he has established himself as a New Age guru par excellence, travelling the world giving workshops on his book of channelled revelations from The Nine, The Keys of Enoch. Written and laid out in classic Biblical style, its darkly apocalyptic vision has huge numbers of influential devotees. This we find very worrying.
Another Nine channel - an Englishwoman named Jenny O’Connor - was introduced to the avant garde Esalen Institute in San Francisco by Sir John Whitmore. She and The Nine became so influential there that they held seminars and - unbelievably - were actually listed on the Institute’s staff, even successfully ordering the sacking of its chief finance officer and the reorganization of its entire management structure..
This should concern us, because many influential people attended The Nine’s Esalen seminars, including Russians who were part of the Institute’s Soviet Exchange programme. Some of these later rose to prominence in the Gorbachev regime and were instrumental in the downfall of Communism. (The Esalen Institute now runs the US branch of the Gorbachev Foundation.)
The Nine are very much still with us. One of their recent channels, who is also in contact with Tom, is the American writer David M Myers. He is co-author with Britain’s David S Percy of that extraordinary tome Two-Thirds, a history of the galaxy and the human race according to Myer’s otherwordly contacts (who clearly have no sense of the absurd). Percy - best known as a champion of the ’Face on Mars’ and the ’hoaxing’ of the Apollo moon landings - was at one time part of the Schlemmer circle. Among the other major proponents of the ’monuments’ of Mars and their alleged connection with ancient Egypt is none other than Dr James Hurtak - The Nine’s great prophet - who has promoted this idea since as long ago as 1973.
Richard C Hoagland - familiar to FT readers as another unrepentant ’Mars Face’ enthusiast - is also clearly under The Nine’s spell. David Myers and David Percy were, respectively, American and European Director of Operations for Hoagland’s Mars Mission. In fact, his interpretation of the ’monuments’ of Mars comes directly from The Nine. Flake though he may appear (increasingly in these hallowed pages), but his influence over huge swathes of the hungrier mystery seekers is undeniable. This is the man who addresses rapt audiences at the United Nations.
But it is in the New Age channelling circuit that The Nine have truly come into their own. In any other circles their true agenda would no doubt have been rumbled long ago, but this is the New Age. Anything The Nine say must be sweetness and light, right? But an objective reading of their divine pronouncements reveal the first stirrings of something very nasty in Paradise.
Their words appeared in 1992 as the book The Only Planet of Choice, credited to ’transceiver’ Schlemmer and edited by Mary Bennett (a one-time member of the Schlemmer circle who also edited Myers and Percy’s Two-Thirds). This has had an unprecedented influence over the New Age. According to Palden Jenkins (editor of an earlier edition of Only Planet) more and more New Age channelling groups are ’realizing’ that the real source of their wisdom is The Nine. In fact, we have discerned what amounts to a campaign by The Nine - or their adherents - to ’take over’ the New Age. It would be a mistake to underestimate the economic or even political potential of this vast subculture - rich pickings indeed.
But The Nine’s influence does not extend merely to New Age channelling circles. Andrija Puharich, James Hurtak and Richard Hoagland have all lectured at the United Nations in New York. And individuals connected with The Nine are also known to have influence with Vice-President Al Gore. Of course, if The Nine really are the ancient gods of Egypt, then surely there could be fewer more significant events than their return. One may be justified in thinking that the more leading politicians who fall under their influence the better; but are they really the ancient Ennead of Egypt? Can it be that they have actually returned to sort us all out, scattering love and enlightenment from their high moral ground?
Tom, in The Only Planet of Choice, chooses his words carefully as he explains that all the races of the Earth were seeded from space-gods - except one, the "indigenous race", the blacks. He is very careful to urge us not to make an issue out of this. After all, it’s not the black race’s fault that they have no divine spark like the rest of us.
Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of the history of The Nine is its relationship to the career of Andrija Puharich. Recent research has revealed Puharich to have a distinctly sinister side. As an Army doctor in the 1950s, he was deeply involved with the CIA’s notorious MKULTRA mind control project. He - together with the infamous Dr Sidney Gottlieb - experimented with a variety of techniques to change or induce actual thought processes. even to creating the impression of voices in the head. These techniques included the use of drugs, hypnosis and beaming radio signals directly into the subject’s brain.
And, significantly, he was engaged in this work at exactly the same time that The Nine made their first appearance at the Round Table Foundation. The Foundation itself is now known to have been largely funded by the Pentagon as a front for its medical and parapsychological research. Puharich was still working for the CIA in the early 1970s, when he brought Uri Geller out of Israel. Puharich’s use of hypnosis is particularly interesting in The Nine circle. In the case of Uri Geller and Bobby Horne, he first hypnotized them and then suggested that they were in touch with The Nine - and so, they were! Ira Einhorn - a close associate of Puharich’s during the 1970s - confirmed to us that he believed that Puharich was "humanly directing" The Nine communications.
The evidence we have gathered strongly suggests that Tom and his fellow gods originated, not in the stars, but behind closed doors as part of a CIA mind control experiment. And what happened to that experiment? Now with hundreds of thousands of devotees, some in very high places, can The Nine be deemed a success? Of course, that depends very much on what the CIA had in mind. With their subtle racist propaganda, perhaps the flaky New Age Nine should worry the hell out of us.

They have authority over the Hoovians, which are the Controllers of various planetary civilizations. A city-sized spaceship called Spectra hovers over the Earth and sends messages from the Hoovians light-years away to their super-computers to Geller, who is their emissary on earth. Mid-70s: ran a complex in Ossining called the Turkey Farm. In the summer of 1975, Puharich assembled around twenty children from the ages of nine to late teens, called "Gellerlings", or "Space Kids". Puharich trained their psychic abilities, and claimed that they received messages from aliens. One teen claimed that they practiced remote viewing, and some of their assignments included political targets like the Kremlin and the White House. (Levy, pg 165-7)
Puharich has claimed that the Space Kids are able to materialize objects like trees, and that six of them arrived at his ranch via teleportation. (Gardener, pg 287)
It was also during this time that Puharich did experiments on the effects of ELF radiation on the central nervous system.

Introduction;
Our world changed almost instantaneously in the technical capability for
mind control with the discovery that electromagnetic beams of energy could be
used for three negative purposes; influence, disable or kill from a distance.
One of the first scientists to delve into the effects of electro-magnetics on
human organisms was the famous scientist by the name of Nikola Tesla, with
E.L. Chaffee and R.U. Light quickly following his work in 1934 with the
adventation of the monograph; "A Method For the Remote Control of Electrical
Stimulation of the Nervous System."
Coincidentally the same year Soviet Union scientist Leonid L. Vasiliev wrote
"Critical Evaluation of the Hypogenic Method" about the discoveries of Dr. I.F.
Tomashevsky and his advanced research into remote influencing of the brain
through radio waves.
Andrija Puharich was yet another early scientist/researcher into the effects of
electromagnetics who delved into the effects of radio waves on animals, working
at Northwestern University in the late 1940s. Pucharich was the man who founded
a laboratory he titled the 'Round Table Foundation of Electrobiology' in what
he modestly termed "a barn in the woods" outside of Camden, Maine.
The Round Table Foundation of Electrobiology was hardly a barn, sized at one
hundred by fifty feet, with a basement and loft which was used by the Navy
(for storage) during World War II.
Among Puharich's associates at the Round Table were Warren S. McCulloch,
one of the founders of 'cybernetics' theory, who worked at Bellevue Hospital in
New York City. McCulloch was an early advocate of electronic brain implants,
and chaired conferences sponsored by the Josiah Macy, Jr. Foundation, a channel
for CIA mind control funding. Another associate of Puharich's was John Hays
Hammond, said to have been Nikola Tesla's only student, who was interested
in the use of electromagnetics to control the human mind.
After the demise of Andrija Puharich's Round Table Foundation of
Electrobiology, he spent a lot of time with the famous social engineer
Aldous Huxley in Tecate, Mexico, once again studying the effects of
electronics on the human organization.

'CIA Tooth Implants'
Among many of Puharich's many accomplishments was the design and pseudo-
implementation of what is described as a "radio tooth implant", the technical
specs of which were sold to the CIA. At a conference on electromagnetism
in September of 1987, Puharich the following invention: "We were able to
develop a hearing device that fit under the cap of a tooth and we could
hear very clearly from a small little relay and receiver and transmitter
and unfortunately it was promptly classified by an agency of our government.
But we did solve the problem in terms of hardware."
The radio tooth implantation may _still be in use_ to this day. According to
the 'Chemical and Engineering News' for February 5, 1996, in a story titled
"Hong Kong professor sues U.S. for mind control":
"The South China Morning Post reported on January 25 that an assistant
professor at the University of Science & Technology, Hong Kong, has filed
a $100 million suit against the U.S. government for implanting mind-control
devices in his teeth. Huang Si-ming charges that the devices were implanted
during root canal work in 1991 while he was studying at the University of
Iowa, according to Morning Post reported Patricia Young. Another student
at Iowa University, who like Huang, was born in China, had gone on a
shooting spree, and the Feds, Huang says, put the devices in his teeth to
find out if he was involved.
"The Hong Kong professor says he suffered an Alzheimer's disease-like memory
loss that hampered his teaching. It stopped, he says, only when he sought
legal aid to mount his lawsuit. Besides the U.S., the suit names the
University of Science & Technology on the grounds that it was involved in
continuing the mind-control work. It also seeks punitive damages of $1
million from the defendants for 'low ethical standards.'
"Huang claims that one of the devices in his teeth can read his thoughts and
talk to his mind when he's asleep. A second device, he believes, transmits
pictures of what he sees to a receiver for recording. The mind controller,
he says, can drive him to 'bad' behavior. He gives two examples, one of
which cannot be mentioned in a family magazine."
Huang is not alone in his complaints about having mind control devices
implanted in his teeth. David B. recounts his story:
"X-rays revealed a metal object on the left side of my skull under the jaw in
the soft tissue of my neck. In May 1996, I finally had it removed, I asked
many doctors about the possibility of it falling there during an extraction -
they said, 'possible, but remote'. Most of them thought it punctured my neck
from the outside. I sent X-rays to Dr. Sims, and he arranged removal. The
strange thing that came out of this was the discovery of the small object
in my shoulder. Dr. Leer called after receiving my X-rays and asked if I had
ever broken my shoulder, if I had ever been in an explosion. I replied no.
He said the reason was that the X-ray clearly showed a screw in my left
shoulder. He said it looked like an operation for a broken shoulder. I
have never broken a bone to my knowledge, and called my mother to ask. She
said I'd had no operations as a child. This part is a complete mystery.
"During the first six months of torture (extreme at that time), I went to a
dentist and reported pain under my new dental bridge, installed a few months
before the assault. He removed it and I was still in contact. So I wrote
off my teeth and concentrated on my throat, wrongly. In my X-rays and CAT
scan, one tooth is very bright and in one frame of the CAT scan it shows
rays of white emanating from it. People I asked said it was probably an
interference effect with the metal."

A VICTIM OF CIA MIND CONTROL: POLITICAL ASYLUM

To Whom It May Concern:
With this letter I am requesting political asylum from your
government as an American citizen and victim of mind control
carried out presumably by the CIA. I am taking such drastic
measures because I am in fear of my life and safety and because I
have exhausted every legal and other means available to me. I
have received no assistance from the President of the United
States, the FBI, the CIA, the Attorney General, my Congressman to
mention just a few. The fact that this technology exists and is
being used against private citizens and innocent people like
myself no one in any position of responsibility in government
will officially acknowledge.
I hope this is an acceptable condition for political asylum. If
need be I am willing to relinquish my citizenship and be declared
stateless as a means to this end. This is a well thought-out
decision on my part and I am aware of all the ramifications that
could occur. Naturally it is not a decision that I have taken
easily, but under the circumstances it is likely that it is the
only one that will prolong my life or give me any quality of
life.
I would like to provide a chronology giving the events leading up
to this decision.
As a university student I spent a year abroad in France and
Germany and in Paris. I met a German university graduate whom I
later married. We eventually returned to Germany to live after we
finished our studies in the U.S. (I did my B.A. and he did a
postgraduate degree in international business). A few years later
we were divorced in Munich, Germany. I then became a graduate
student and teacher, and resided for almost 10 years in what was
then West Berlin, Germany. There was nothing unusual in my life
until the year 1983. At that time I co-taught a parapsychology
course in the Community College system of West Berlin. A friend
attended this class and brought a guest. The guest whom I will
call "C.L." and I became friends later. Through these people I
got to know some other new acquaintances and whether these people
are incidental to, or pivotal figures in what later transpired is
something that I can only speculate about. However, a certain
pattern would appear to emerge from this.
One of the people I got to know casually was Peggy Woolsey who
had worked as secretary to Richard Helms, former head of the CIA
in Iran (He was there during the coup). Peggy would often tell me
about her life in Iran. Once when I was in her apartment having a
drink I discovered at least a inch of sediment on the bottom of
my drink. I commented on this and was told it was the "Berlin
water." Another time I went to East Berlin in her car with
diplomatic plates and felt a strange mood of paranoia almost as
if I was hallucinating. I remember Peggy asking me where the
Russian embassy was. I remember thinking, "How should I know?"
In fact, I was at that time so naive I had not realized there
was a Russian embassy in West Berlin. I had crossed the border
previously primarily to go to the opera or theater or to buy
books (German literature classics in cheap editions). I had the
impression that something strange was transpiring. It was during
this time that I was on three occasions, at three different
locations, talked to during my sleep by people I was acquainted
with. On these occasions I had awakened abruptly during my sleep
and became aware of what was transpiring. I went to the U.S.
consulate and named names. After this I was harassed by a man in
a white car who would drive by my apartment and when in close
proximity, would zap me with an electrical field of some sort.
He was very brazen. I would find my body pulsating during my
sleep especially at the base of my spine, but my whole body
would vibrate as well and I would see flashing lights on my
wall. I had to go to the U.S. Consulate several times and they
expressed disbelief in what I was saying rudely stating: Who
would be interested in you -- you have no important political or
military contacts. Ultimately they advised me to return to the
U.S. and change my name. In despair I contacted a secret service
in Berlin and was treated with consideration and respect at
least. Ultimately I decided to return to the U.S. where I
thought I would be able to live a normal life. I think back to
those innocent days when I was merely being harassed by parties
unknown in no way suspecting what would be in store for me when
I returned to a living hell and unbelievable torture, abuse, and
experimentation.
In retrospect the only conclusion that makes reasonable sense is
that I must have exposed a CIA operation. I was then classified
as a "write-off" or expendable as a human being. By some
unfortunate decision I was designated for a constant monitoring,
inhuman method of electronic incarceration utilizing
intra-cerebral microwave induction of voices. This is one of
several sadistic approaches they have used to destroy my life. So
for 13 years now I have never known one moment of privacy, or
peace. My entire life has been stolen from me. My apartment
serves them as the cage of a guinea pig.
What they attempted to do with very crude, unsophisticated human
input (not to say criminal and immoral) coupled with an
electronic technology totally unknown to the public was to set up
some artificial controls (or "handlers") utilizing voice and
emotive responses of some individuals recognizable to me and get
them to "control" my behavior by the use of positive and negative
reinforcement. These were not "voices" talking to me live but
were a whole catalog of reactions that were activated in my brain
by some means. For example if I did something they did not like
they would use the voice characteristics of "C." crying or
whining or expressing despair. Thus the same expression would be
played over and over again like canned laughter on a TV quiz
program. I might hear the same emotive phrase played over 5
times in one day however absurd that may seem. When they
realized that I was not being hoodwinked or deceived into
thinking that this was a real person (and naturally they selected
the voices of former lovers) they did not attempt to project this
artifice but instead would harass me with the voices. Often I was
interrupted at what I was doing at the rate of once a minute
throughout the day. At other times it was once every 4 minutes.
At other times every time I made a decision, drew a conclusion
from something, or followed instructions it was reinforced. The
implication being that these swine were in charge of my behavior
and thinking. This reaches the point of fanatic absurdity on
their part. And it still continues even as I type this. They are
constantly trying to reinforce or keep in place their repulsive
"program."
Here are some examples: Through a business contact I got to know
"S." and every time I met with her it was euphorically reinforced.
This was something I could not fathom. I would think why is not
my friendships with V., E.J., or others reinforced like this. It
did not make sense to me as S. was a rather unsophisticated but
warm-hearted Iranian hairdresser. Later I discovered that under
the Shah, S. had been married to a Judge, connected in high
places, had hidden people in her home and had had to flee when
her husband was arrested.
I think that one of the things they had planned to use was to
start relationships with certain targeted individuals. They kept
up a rabid campaign to get me to re-establish a contact with a
foreign national who reputedly had intelligence contacts. I
refused but they never stopped harassing me. They tried to
establish a whole associational network of things supposedly
characteristic of this person to constantly keep him in my mind
which was revolting in the extreme. So I frequently formed the
impression that I was constantly dealing with people who were my
intellectual inferiors, ignorant provincials who were in a mad
rush to use their high-tech equipment on any designated victim.
The irony of all this pain and suffering was that the same
things could have been achieved by very conventional and mundane
methods. But this high-tech equipment was being used by
individuals very unlike myself where I had a feeling I was being
corrupted by the association, that I was being polluted by the
contact and as a result I feel I have lost or had murdered my
spirituality, my refinement, my dignity and privacy as a women,
my idealism, my joy in living, my sexuality, my feelings of
freedom, my comfort zone, i.e. all that had once been the
essential ingredients of my life.
Their sadism knows no bounds. They will talk with you and make it
a point of letting you know that they are watching you while you
are on the toilet, for example.
Needless to say, I attempted suicide but was stopped in the woods
by another motorist.
I would be more happy to reveal their whole mind control program
but there is not enough time now.
What happened to precipitate this decision to seek asylum is that
I discovered that there were other victims on whom the same or
similar technology was being used and began networking with them
and sharing information with plans of going public and getting
organized. I was also able to upgrade and expand my technical
knowledge and met victims of the CIA's Project Monarch and
MKULTRA.
I then started to get heart palpitations of a severe nature and
my thyroid would be microwaved so that it would pulsate. I would
awaken with a field directed to my stomach and intestines (the
genital stimulation during sleep was by now old-hat) so that my
midriff would be sore. When I would cover my thyroid with my
hands to shield it I would later have arthritic-similar pains in
my hands. I woke up two days ago with pain in my left armpit and
both groin lymph nodes. I am afraid I am being "taken out." One
of the de-programmers and most knowledgeable persons on the CIA's
codes, techniques and tactics has been suddenly diagnosed with
terminal cancer that apparently appeared out of nowhere.
I fear for my safety. I have gone to extremes to protect myself
-- trying to set up improvised faraday cages, sleeping on the
bathroom floor, wrapping myself in copper, aluminum, and the
pinging is terrible -- the program that gets activated during my
REM sleep especially. And last night for the first time they
actually used some equipment that lifted my body out of the
galvanized aluminum shields I had erected. I was actually
knocked backwards. I then tried to write this letter at home but
my electric typewriter malfunctioned -- when I would hit the "n"
key I would get "q" for example.
Your speedy attention to this urgent matter would certainly be
appreciated.

Microwaves and Mind Control in Low Income Communities
September, 1995
"Contel Couldn't Con Churchill"
Contel Cellular's attempt at building cellular phone towers in
the highly populated Black district of Churchill, came to a
screeching halt when residents met with Contel representatives to
voice their concerns. The meeting was held on July 31 at 6 p.m.
at the Salvation Army Boys and Girls club. Organized by Reggie
Malone and Sterling Page, the meeting was to provide a platform
on the pros and cons of the tower and the health risks involved.
Contel was supposed to provide evidence that microwave radiation
produced by cellular phone towers are harmless. That did not
happen. I was invited by Mr. Malone to be on the panel and
present my research on the effects of microwave radiation and
cited several studies from very credible sources that microwave
radiation is very harmful.
In attendance for Contel was the Company president Phil Forbes
and Richard Biby a so-called communications engineer expert who
came to the meeting empty handed, with no information, only
rhetoric. A map of Richmond was the only thing presented as
residents began to tear into their backsides for coming
unprepared.
The channel 12 report broadcast at 11:00 p.m. spared Contel
the embarrassment of how it really was a landslide defeat given to
them by the residents. Channel 12 attempt to lend support and
credibility to Contel was weak and full of holes. The organizers
Reggie Malone and Sterling Page were never even interviewed, in
fact Richard Biby was the only panelist that was interviewed. He
was promoted as an expert that denied any harmful effects from
low-level microwave radiation, although he provided no evidence
to the Churchill residents. I presented several studies myself,
with the documentation in my hand, that microwave radiation is
harmful. But channel 12 didn't seem very interested.
City manager Robert Bobb, who was also in attendance, said in
the channel 12 interview that the tower would still be built in
the community but at a different site after siding with the
residents in the meeting. You stabbed us in the back again Mr.Bobb.
Shirley Harvey, the lone maverick of city council always
standing against the odds for what she believes in, approached
Mr. Bobb when I was with her after the meeting about the video
cameras on the street corners in Black neighborhoods. He replied
he didn't know of them, but he did admit to some closed
discussions of electronic surveillance. They have obviously been
doing more than discussing it. (* check the corner of Brooklyn
Park & Meadowbridge *)
At this point we will quote several more sources, articles, and
studies on" low-level" microwave radiation since that's the reason
they give us that cellular phone towers are safe.
In 1971 the Presidents advisory council issued a report that
stated "electromagnetic radiations emanating from radar,
television, communications systems, microwave ovens, permeate the
environment" and warned that "the consequences of undervaluing or
misjudging the biological effects of long-term, low-level
exposure could become a critical problem for the public health,
especially if genetic effects are involved."
The Environmental Protection Agency released a summary of
scientific reviews in December of 1990 which concluded that
scientific evidence "suggests a causal link " between (ELF)
extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields, (produced by
microwave radiations) and leukemia, lymphoma, and brain cancer.
And "a possible but not proven, cause of cancer in Humans." We
have found that it is very provable.
In 1976 Professor Przemyslaw Czerski along with Dr. William M.
Leach, chief of the experimental studies branch of the Bureau of
Radiological Health's Division of Biological Effects, told a
seminar that convened in Washington on December 15, 1976 by the
Electromagnetic Radiation Management Advisory Council that it was
"easily demonstrable and easily quantified microwave effects on
the lymphocytes and lymphocytic systems of mice, rabbits, and
guinea pigs which had been exposed to low doses of radiation."
Dr. Leach went on to say that up to 20% of the normal
lymphocyte cells (white blood cells) in the irradiated animals
underwent blastic transformation, which means that the cells grew
in size then divided into two. Dr. Leach then told the audience,
"We have a word for that, the word is cancer." The study was
conducted for the first 6 months of 1976.
A study was compiled about behavior alteration caused by ELF
electromagnetic radiation by William Bise, director of the
Pacific Northwest Center for the study of Non-ionizing Radiation
in Portland, Oregon. The report is called "Radio-frequency
Induced Interference Responses in the Human Nervous System". It
was conducted on 10 human volunteers between July 1975 and June
1976. It states that "biological interference responses in the
human nervous system can be elicited (caused) not only by
pulse-modulated but by continuous wave radio-frequency at power
densities substantially below those levels that exist in a
typical urban environment". In the last section of the Bise report
he suggested that since approximately 5% of the urban population
of the U.S. was believed to be living in an environmental power
density, his findings indicate "a meaningful risk factor for the
general population appears to exist".
The study published by the U.S. Army mobility Equipment
Research and Development Center in 1972 called, "Analysis of
Microwaves for Barrier Warfare", states that," It is possible to
field a truck- portable microwave barrier system that will
completely "immobilize" (mind-control) personnel in the open with
present day technology and equipment".
In light of the studies and interest in behavior control using
microwave radiation and it's effects on the nervous system from
the army, scientists, and medical specialists, could the silence
about the real effects of microwave radiation be part of a
plan to alter then eventually control the behavior of an
unsuspecting urban population? Keeping in mind that before
someone can control you, you must give up control of yourself or
be made to lose control of your own behavior. Are people more out
of control these days?
Are individuals being produced who are extremely susceptible to
these subliminal microwave signals and go out and commit
atrocities? They don't even know why they did it. Some claim to
hear voices that told them to do things. It is not only possible,
it is likely.
There is great interest in mind-control. Ask Psychotechnologies
of Richmond, Va. which owns the American right to the soviet
mind-control technology that the F.B.I. was going to use on David
Koresh during the Waco stand-off. Dr. Igor Smirnov who developed
it claimed it could be used through the phone. (Defense
Electronics 7/93) Psychotechnologies is not listed in the directory.
It is time for people to ignore the rhetoric and examine the facts for
ourselves.

Although the various reports appear, at first glance, to
represent a confused and conflicting mass of data, a
logical, orderly and meaningful pattern can be evolved in
evaluating their data. The basic factors which must
constantly be borne in mind are:
(1) that microwave radiation is electromagnetic in nature,
(2) that the nervous system functions as an electronic
network normally shielded or protected from spurious
fields and
(3) that when extraordinary electromagnetic fields are
created around neural elements this can produce
functional or organic neurological anomalies.
Soviet research showed that pulsed fields
(such as those which appear around power lines) were more
effective than continuous radiation in affecting nervous
system pathways.
"For non-thermal irradiations, they believe that the
electromagnetic field induced by the microwave environment
affects the cell membrane, and this results in an increase
of excitability or an increase in the level of excitation of
nerve cells. With repeated or continued exposure, the
increased excitability leads to a state of exhaustion of the
cells of the cerebral cortex. This results in the Sechenov
inhibition effect which is manifested by the elimination of
positive conditioned reflexes or behavior."
This is the same result found in studies of the effects of
power line fields on human cell samples. One hesitates to
quote such a source as the National Enquirer, but the
response this article elicited from the Department of
Defense warrants it. On June 22, 1976, the tabloid reported
that since 1973 the Advanced Research Projects Agency had
been sponsoring a program to develop a machine that could
read minds from a distance by deciphering the brain's
magnetic waves.

Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) Transmitters
One field of research that has sparked some interest of mine is that of
Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) Transmitters and the numerous possibilities
involved in possessing one. Lets take a look at the possible ethical
implications involved in ELF research; for example, if I were carrying an
ELF transmitter operating at alpha frequencies, would the people around me
be affected as well? Would these people unconsciously gravitate towards me
because they'd become more relaxed as they moved closer? What if
a salesman were carrying an ELF transmitter? Would people be influenced to
buy something because they were more relaxed around the salesman? Could
entire populations be influenced to be comfortable with ideas they would
normally reject? There are some serious ethical considerations to keep in
mind when working with ELF transmitters, and these are only the non-malicious
uses for them.
ELF Transmitters can be used as remote weapons against people and animals...
The Soviets have been playing with the effects of Extremely Low Frequencies for
over fifty years by studying the psychophysiological and metabolic changes and
the alterations of brain function resulting from exposure to mixed frequencies
of ELF radiation. One physiological effect which has been demonstrated is
heart seizure on humans, dogs, and cats.
Another possibility is the alteration of the blood-brain barrier. This could
allow neurotoxins in the blood to cross. As a result, an individual could
develop severe neuropathological symptoms and either die or become seriously
impaired neurologically.

- 6-10 Hertz are the same frequencies produced by the human brain in the
theta and alpha states. Generally, specific brain wave frequency ranges
can be associated with mood or thought patterns in humans.
- Frequencies below 8 Hertz are considered theta waves, which are said to
be associated with creative and insightful thought. When an artist, scientist,
or hacker has the "aha" experience, there is a good chance he or she is in
"theta mode".
- Alpha frequencies are from 8-12 Hertz and are commonly associated with relaxed,
meditative states. Most people are in an alpha state during the short time
immediately before they fall asleep and when the conscious nervous system switches
over to the subconscious.
- Beta frequencies are about 12 Hertz and coincide with our most "awake" analytical
thinking. For example; if you're solving a math problem, your brain is working
at beta frequencies. Most of our waking hours as adults are spent in the beta
state.
Medical Implications of Extremely Low Frequencies:
- Over-exposure to ELF radiation can cause loss of short/long term memory
- Causes skin problems
- Weaken the immune system (is there a link between ELF radiation and AIDS?)

The equipment required for this experiment was easily attainable,
with the notable exception of a stable frequency counter with .01 Hertz resolution.
Accurate frequency measurements were essential for this research,
so I designed and built a digital frequency counter capable of
measuring frequency to the hundredth of a Hertz (plus or minus .005 Hertz).
A 100 KHz crystal Colpitt's oscillator (calibrated with WWV) was
used as a time base and divided by ten to the seventh power to attain
the desired resolution.

The transducer was a 24" diameter hand-wound coil, consisting
of 1000' of #25 magnetic wire. The coil had a DC resistance of
32.4 ohms. It was mounted on a 26" square piece of bakalite board
for stability. Two dowels were mounted with plastic ties onto the
board so they extended 24" from opposite sides of the board and
the entire apparatus was secured by two microphone stands.

we will not under any circumstances perceive the actual. Our lives, controlled
by electronic connections - the media manipulator, the cyberneticist, and of
course the government. We're nothing but the puppets, and they are the
puppetmasters.

Introduction;
Our world changed almost instantaneously in the technical capability for
mind control with the discovery that electromagnetic beams of energy could be
used for three negative purposes; influence, disable or kill from a distance.
One of the first scientists to delve into the effects of electro-magnetics on
human organisms was the famous scientist by the name of Nikola Tesla, with
E.L. Chaffee and R.U. Light quickly following his work in 1934 with the
adventation of the monograph; "A Method For the Remote Control of Electrical
Stimulation of the Nervous System."
Coincidentally the same year Soviet Union scientist Leonid L. Vasiliev wrote
"Critical Evaluation of the Hypogenic Method" about the discoveries of Dr. I.F.
Tomashevsky and his advanced research into remote influencing of the brain
through radio waves.
Andrija Puharich was yet another early scientist/researcher into the effects of
electromagnetics who delved into the effects of radio waves on animals, working
at Northwestern University in the late 1940s. Pucharich was the man who founded
a laboratory he titled the 'Round Table Foundation of Electrobiology' in what
he modestly termed "a barn in the woods" outside of Camden, Maine.
The Round Table Foundation of Electrobiology was hardly a barn, sized at one
hundred by fifty feet, with a basement and loft which was used by the Navy
(for storage) during World War II.
Among Puharich's associates at the Round Table were Warren S. McCulloch,
one of the founders of 'cybernetics' theory, who worked at Bellevue Hospital in
New York City. McCulloch was an early advocate of electronic brain implants,
and chaired conferences sponsored by the Josiah Macy, Jr. Foundation, a channel
for CIA mind control funding. Another associate of Puharich's was John Hays
Hammond, said to have been Nikola Tesla's only student, who was interested
in the use of electromagnetics to control the human mind.
After the demise of Andrija Puharich's Round Table Foundation of
Electrobiology, he spent a lot of time with the famous social engineer
Aldous Huxley in Tecate, Mexico, once again studying the effects of
electronics on the human organization.

'CIA Tooth Implants'
Among many of Puharich's many accomplishments was the design and pseudo-
implementation of what is described as a "radio tooth implant", the technical
specs of which were sold to the CIA. At a conference on electromagnetism
in September of 1987, Puharich the following invention: "We were able to
develop a hearing device that fit under the cap of a tooth and we could
hear very clearly from a small little relay and receiver and transmitter
and unfortunately it was promptly classified by an agency of our government.
But we did solve the problem in terms of hardware."
The radio tooth implantation may _still be in use_ to this day. According to
the 'Chemical and Engineering News' for February 5, 1996, in a story titled
"Hong Kong professor sues U.S. for mind control":
"The South China Morning Post reported on January 25 that an assistant
professor at the University of Science & Technology, Hong Kong, has filed
a $100 million suit against the U.S. government for implanting mind-control
devices in his teeth. Huang Si-ming charges that the devices were implanted
during root canal work in 1991 while he was studying at the University of
Iowa, according to Morning Post reported Patricia Young. Another student
at Iowa University, who like Huang, was born in China, had gone on a
shooting spree, and the Feds, Huang says, put the devices in his teeth to
find out if he was involved.
"The Hong Kong professor says he suffered an Alzheimer's disease-like memory
loss that hampered his teaching. It stopped, he says, only when he sought
legal aid to mount his lawsuit. Besides the U.S., the suit names the
University of Science & Technology on the grounds that it was involved in
continuing the mind-control work. It also seeks punitive damages of $1
million from the defendants for 'low ethical standards.'
"Huang claims that one of the devices in his teeth can read his thoughts and
talk to his mind when he's asleep. A second device, he believes, transmits
pictures of what he sees to a receiver for recording. The mind controller,
he says, can drive him to 'bad' behavior. He gives two examples, one of
which cannot be mentioned in a family magazine."
Huang is not alone in his complaints about having mind control devices
implanted in his teeth. David B. recounts his story:
"X-rays revealed a metal object on the left side of my skull under the jaw in
the soft tissue of my neck. In May 1996, I finally had it removed, I asked
many doctors about the possibility of it falling there during an extraction -
they said, 'possible, but remote'. Most of them thought it punctured my neck
from the outside. I sent X-rays to Dr. Sims, and he arranged removal. The
strange thing that came out of this was the discovery of the small object
in my shoulder. Dr. Leer called after receiving my X-rays and asked if I had
ever broken my shoulder, if I had ever been in an explosion. I replied no.
He said the reason was that the X-ray clearly showed a screw in my left
shoulder. He said it looked like an operation for a broken shoulder. I
have never broken a bone to my knowledge, and called my mother to ask. She
said I'd had no operations as a child. This part is a complete mystery.
"During the first six months of torture (extreme at that time), I went to a
dentist and reported pain under my new dental bridge, installed a few months
before the assault. He removed it and I was still in contact. So I wrote
off my teeth and concentrated on my throat, wrongly. In my X-rays and CAT
scan, one tooth is very bright and in one frame of the CAT scan it shows
rays of white emanating from it. People I asked said it was probably an
interference effect with the metal."

A VICTIM OF CIA MIND CONTROL: POLITICAL ASYLUM

To Whom It May Concern:
With this letter I am requesting political asylum from your
government as an American citizen and victim of mind control
carried out presumably by the CIA. I am taking such drastic
measures because I am in fear of my life and safety and because I
have exhausted every legal and other means available to me. I
have received no assistance from the President of the United
States, the FBI, the CIA, the Attorney General, my Congressman to
mention just a few. The fact that this technology exists and is
being used against private citizens and innocent people like
myself no one in any position of responsibility in government
will officially acknowledge.
I hope this is an acceptable condition for political asylum. If
need be I am willing to relinquish my citizenship and be declared
stateless as a means to this end. This is a well thought-out
decision on my part and I am aware of all the ramifications that
could occur. Naturally it is not a decision that I have taken
easily, but under the circumstances it is likely that it is the
only one that will prolong my life or give me any quality of
life.
I would like to provide a chronology giving the events leading up
to this decision.
As a university student I spent a year abroad in France and
Germany and in Paris. I met a German university graduate whom I
later married. We eventually returned to Germany to live after we
finished our studies in the U.S. (I did my B.A. and he did a
postgraduate degree in international business). A few years later
we were divorced in Munich, Germany. I then became a graduate
student and teacher, and resided for almost 10 years in what was
then West Berlin, Germany. There was nothing unusual in my life
until the year 1983. At that time I co-taught a parapsychology
course in the Community College system of West Berlin. A friend
attended this class and brought a guest. The guest whom I will
call "C.L." and I became friends later. Through these people I
got to know some other new acquaintances and whether these people
are incidental to, or pivotal figures in what later transpired is
something that I can only speculate about. However, a certain
pattern would appear to emerge from this.
One of the people I got to know casually was Peggy Woolsey who
had worked as secretary to Richard Helms, former head of the CIA
in Iran (He was there during the coup). Peggy would often tell me
about her life in Iran. Once when I was in her apartment having a
drink I discovered at least a inch of sediment on the bottom of
my drink. I commented on this and was told it was the "Berlin
water." Another time I went to East Berlin in her car with
diplomatic plates and felt a strange mood of paranoia almost as
if I was hallucinating. I remember Peggy asking me where the
Russian embassy was. I remember thinking, "How should I know?"
In fact, I was at that time so naive I had not realized there
was a Russian embassy in West Berlin. I had crossed the border
previously primarily to go to the opera or theater or to buy
books (German literature classics in cheap editions). I had the
impression that something strange was transpiring. It was during
this time that I was on three occasions, at three different
locations, talked to during my sleep by people I was acquainted
with. On these occasions I had awakened abruptly during my sleep
and became aware of what was transpiring. I went to the U.S.
consulate and named names. After this I was harassed by a man in
a white car who would drive by my apartment and when in close
proximity, would zap me with an electrical field of some sort.
He was very brazen. I would find my body pulsating during my
sleep especially at the base of my spine, but my whole body
would vibrate as well and I would see flashing lights on my
wall. I had to go to the U.S. Consulate several times and they
expressed disbelief in what I was saying rudely stating: Who
would be interested in you -- you have no important political or
military contacts. Ultimately they advised me to return to the
U.S. and change my name. In despair I contacted a secret service
in Berlin and was treated with consideration and respect at
least. Ultimately I decided to return to the U.S. where I
thought I would be able to live a normal life. I think back to
those innocent days when I was merely being harassed by parties
unknown in no way suspecting what would be in store for me when
I returned to a living hell and unbelievable torture, abuse, and
experimentation.
In retrospect the only conclusion that makes reasonable sense is
that I must have exposed a CIA operation. I was then classified
as a "write-off" or expendable as a human being. By some
unfortunate decision I was designated for a constant monitoring,
inhuman method of electronic incarceration utilizing
intra-cerebral microwave induction of voices. This is one of
several sadistic approaches they have used to destroy my life. So
for 13 years now I have never known one moment of privacy, or
peace. My entire life has been stolen from me. My apartment
serves them as the cage of a guinea pig.
What they attempted to do with very crude, unsophisticated human
input (not to say criminal and immoral) coupled with an
electronic technology totally unknown to the public was to set up
some artificial controls (or "handlers") utilizing voice and
emotive responses of some individuals recognizable to me and get
them to "control" my behavior by the use of positive and negative
reinforcement. These were not "voices" talking to me live but
were a whole catalog of reactions that were activated in my brain
by some means. For example if I did something they did not like
they would use the voice characteristics of "C." crying or
whining or expressing despair. Thus the same expression would be
played over and over again like canned laughter on a TV quiz
program. I might hear the same emotive phrase played over 5
times in one day however absurd that may seem. When they
realized that I was not being hoodwinked or deceived into
thinking that this was a real person (and naturally they selected
the voices of former lovers) they did not attempt to project this
artifice but instead would harass me with the voices. Often I was
interrupted at what I was doing at the rate of once a minute
throughout the day. At other times it was once every 4 minutes.
At other times every time I made a decision, drew a conclusion
from something, or followed instructions it was reinforced. The
implication being that these swine were in charge of my behavior
and thinking. This reaches the point of fanatic absurdity on
their part. And it still continues even as I type this. They are
constantly trying to reinforce or keep in place their repulsive
"program."
Here are some examples: Through a business contact I got to know
"S." and every time I met with her it was euphorically reinforced.
This was something I could not fathom. I would think why is not
my friendships with V., E.J., or others reinforced like this. It
did not make sense to me as S. was a rather unsophisticated but
warm-hearted Iranian hairdresser. Later I discovered that under
the Shah, S. had been married to a Judge, connected in high
places, had hidden people in her home and had had to flee when
her husband was arrested.
I think that one of the things they had planned to use was to
start relationships with certain targeted individuals. They kept
up a rabid campaign to get me to re-establish a contact with a
foreign national who reputedly had intelligence contacts. I
refused but they never stopped harassing me. They tried to
establish a whole associational network of things supposedly
characteristic of this person to constantly keep him in my mind
which was revolting in the extreme. So I frequently formed the
impression that I was constantly dealing with people who were my
intellectual inferiors, ignorant provincials who were in a mad
rush to use their high-tech equipment on any designated victim.
The irony of all this pain and suffering was that the same
things could have been achieved by very conventional and mundane
methods. But this high-tech equipment was being used by
individuals very unlike myself where I had a feeling I was being
corrupted by the association, that I was being polluted by the
contact and as a result I feel I have lost or had murdered my
spirituality, my refinement, my dignity and privacy as a women,
my idealism, my joy in living, my sexuality, my feelings of
freedom, my comfort zone, i.e. all that had once been the
essential ingredients of my life.
Their sadism knows no bounds. They will talk with you and make it
a point of letting you know that they are watching you while you
are on the toilet, for example.
Needless to say, I attempted suicide but was stopped in the woods
by another motorist.
I would be more happy to reveal their whole mind control program
but there is not enough time now.
What happened to precipitate this decision to seek asylum is that
I discovered that there were other victims on whom the same or
similar technology was being used and began networking with them
and sharing information with plans of going public and getting
organized. I was also able to upgrade and expand my technical
knowledge and met victims of the CIA's Project Monarch and
MKULTRA.
I then started to get heart palpitations of a severe nature and
my thyroid would be microwaved so that it would pulsate. I would
awaken with a field directed to my stomach and intestines (the
genital stimulation during sleep was by now old-hat) so that my
midriff would be sore. When I would cover my thyroid with my
hands to shield it I would later have arthritic-similar pains in
my hands. I woke up two days ago with pain in my left armpit and
both groin lymph nodes. I am afraid I am being "taken out." One
of the de-programmers and most knowledgeable persons on the CIA's
codes, techniques and tactics has been suddenly diagnosed with
terminal cancer that apparently appeared out of nowhere.
I fear for my safety. I have gone to extremes to protect myself
-- trying to set up improvised faraday cages, sleeping on the
bathroom floor, wrapping myself in copper, aluminum, and the
pinging is terrible -- the program that gets activated during my
REM sleep especially. And last night for the first time they
actually used some equipment that lifted my body out of the
galvanized aluminum shields I had erected. I was actually
knocked backwards. I then tried to write this letter at home but
my electric typewriter malfunctioned -- when I would hit the "n"
key I would get "q" for example.
Your speedy attention to this urgent matter would certainly be
appreciated.

Microwaves and Mind Control in Low Income Communities
September, 1995
"Contel Couldn't Con Churchill"
Contel Cellular's attempt at building cellular phone towers in
the highly populated Black district of Churchill, came to a
screeching halt when residents met with Contel representatives to
voice their concerns. The meeting was held on July 31 at 6 p.m.
at the Salvation Army Boys and Girls club. Organized by Reggie
Malone and Sterling Page, the meeting was to provide a platform
on the pros and cons of the tower and the health risks involved.
Contel was supposed to provide evidence that microwave radiation
produced by cellular phone towers are harmless. That did not
happen. I was invited by Mr. Malone to be on the panel and
present my research on the effects of microwave radiation and
cited several studies from very credible sources that microwave
radiation is very harmful.
In attendance for Contel was the Company president Phil Forbes
and Richard Biby a so-called communications engineer expert who
came to the meeting empty handed, with no information, only
rhetoric. A map of Richmond was the only thing presented as
residents began to tear into their backsides for coming
unprepared.
The channel 12 report broadcast at 11:00 p.m. spared Contel
the embarrassment of how it really was a landslide defeat given to
them by the residents. Channel 12 attempt to lend support and
credibility to Contel was weak and full of holes. The organizers
Reggie Malone and Sterling Page were never even interviewed, in
fact Richard Biby was the only panelist that was interviewed. He
was promoted as an expert that denied any harmful effects from
low-level microwave radiation, although he provided no evidence
to the Churchill residents. I presented several studies myself,
with the documentation in my hand, that microwave radiation is
harmful. But channel 12 didn't seem very interested.
City manager Robert Bobb, who was also in attendance, said in
the channel 12 interview that the tower would still be built in
the community but at a different site after siding with the
residents in the meeting. You stabbed us in the back again Mr.Bobb.
Shirley Harvey, the lone maverick of city council always
standing against the odds for what she believes in, approached
Mr. Bobb when I was with her after the meeting about the video
cameras on the street corners in Black neighborhoods. He replied
he didn't know of them, but he did admit to some closed
discussions of electronic surveillance. They have obviously been
doing more than discussing it. (* check the corner of Brooklyn

At this point we will quote several more sources, articles, and
studies on" low-level" microwave radiation since that's the reason
they give us that cellular phone towers are safe.
In 1971 the Presidents advisory council issued a report that
stated "electromagnetic radiations emanating from radar,
television, communications systems, microwave ovens, permeate the
environment" and warned that "the consequences of undervaluing or
misjudging the biological effects of long-term, low-level
exposure could become a critical problem for the public health,
especially if genetic effects are involved."
The Environmental Protection Agency released a summary of
scientific reviews in December of 1990 which concluded that
scientific evidence "suggests a causal link " between (ELF)
extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields, (produced by
microwave radiations) and leukemia, lymphoma, and brain cancer.
And "a possible but not proven, cause of cancer in Humans." We
have found that it is very provable.
In 1976 Professor Przemyslaw Czerski along with Dr. William M.
Leach, chief of the experimental studies branch of the Bureau of
Radiological Health's Division of Biological Effects, told a
seminar that convened in Washington on December 15, 1976 by the
Electromagnetic Radiation Management Advisory Council that it was
"easily demonstrable and easily quantified microwave effects on
the lymphocytes and lymphocytic systems of mice, rabbits, and
guinea pigs which had been exposed to low doses of radiation."
Dr. Leach went on to say that up to 20% of the normal
lymphocyte cells (white blood cells) in the irradiated animals
underwent blastic transformation, which means that the cells grew
in size then divided into two. Dr. Leach then told the audience,
"We have a word for that, the word is cancer." The study was
conducted for the first 6 months of 1976.
A study was compiled about behavior alteration caused by ELF
electromagnetic radiation by William Bise, director of the
Pacific Northwest Center for the study of Non-ionizing Radiation
in Portland, Oregon. The report is called "Radio-frequency
Induced Interference Responses in the Human Nervous System". It
was conducted on 10 human volunteers between July 1975 and June
1976. It states that "biological interference responses in the
human nervous system can be elicited (caused) not only by
pulse-modulated but by continuous wave radio-frequency at power
densities substantially below those levels that exist in a
typical urban environment". In the last section of the Bise report
he suggested that since approximately 5% of the urban population
of the U.S. was believed to be living in an environmental power
density, his findings indicate "a meaningful risk factor for the
general population appears to exist".
The study published by the U.S. Army mobility Equipment
Research and Development Center in 1972 called, "Analysis of
Microwaves for Barrier Warfare", states that," It is possible to
field a truck- portable microwave barrier system that will
completely "immobilize" (mind-control) personnel in the open with
present day technology and equipment".
In light of the studies and interest in behavior control using
microwave radiation and it's effects on the nervous system from
the army, scientists, and medical specialists, could the silence
about the real effects of microwave radiation be part of a
plan to alter then eventually control the behavior of an
unsuspecting urban population? Keeping in mind that before
someone can control you, you must give up control of yourself or
be made to lose control of your own behavior. Are people more out
of control these days?
Are individuals being produced who are extremely susceptible to
these subliminal microwave signals and go out and commit
atrocities? They don't even know why they did it. Some claim to
hear voices that told them to do things. It is not only possible,
it is likely.
There is great interest in mind-control. Ask Psychotechnologies
of Richmond, Va. which owns the American right to the soviet
mind-control technology that the F.B.I. was going to use on David
Koresh during the Waco stand-off. Dr. Igor Smirnov who developed
it claimed it could be used through the phone. (Defense
Electronics 7/93) Psychotechnologies is not listed in the directory.
It is time for people to ignore the rhetoric and examine the facts for
ourselves.

Although the various reports appear, at first glance, to
represent a confused and conflicting mass of data, a
logical, orderly and meaningful pattern can be evolved in
evaluating their data. The basic factors which must
constantly be borne in mind are:
(1) that microwave radiation is electromagnetic in nature,
(2) that the nervous system functions as an electronic
network normally shielded or protected from spurious
fields and
(3) that when extraordinary electromagnetic fields are
created around neural elements this can produce
functional or organic neurological anomalies.
Soviet research showed that pulsed fields
(such as those which appear around power lines) were more
effective than continuous radiation in affecting nervous
system pathways.
"For non-thermal irradiations, they believe that the
electromagnetic field induced by the microwave environment
affects the cell membrane, and this results in an increase
of excitability or an increase in the level of excitation of
nerve cells. With repeated or continued exposure, the
increased excitability leads to a state of exhaustion of the
cells of the cerebral cortex. This results in the Sechenov
inhibition effect which is manifested by the elimination of
positive conditioned reflexes or behavior."
This is the same result found in studies of the effects of
power line fields on human cell samples. One hesitates to
quote such a source as the National Enquirer, but the
response this article elicited from the Department of
Defense warrants it. On June 22, 1976, the tabloid reported
that since 1973 the Advanced Research Projects Agency had
been sponsoring a program to develop a machine that could
read minds from a distance by deciphering the brain's
magnetic waves.

Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) Transmitters
One field of research that has sparked some interest of mine is that of
Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) Transmitters and the numerous possibilities
involved in possessing one. Lets take a look at the possible ethical
implications involved in ELF research; for example, if I were carrying an
ELF transmitter operating at alpha frequencies, would the people around me
be affected as well? Would these people unconsciously gravitate towards me
because they'd become more relaxed as they moved closer? What if
a salesman were carrying an ELF transmitter? Would people be influenced to
buy something because they were more relaxed around the salesman? Could
entire populations be influenced to be comfortable with ideas they would
normally reject? There are some serious ethical considerations to keep in
mind when working with ELF transmitters, and these are only the non-malicious
uses for them.
ELF Transmitters can be used as remote weapons against people and animals...
The Soviets have been playing with the effects of Extremely Low Frequencies for
over fifty years by studying the psychophysiological and metabolic changes and
the alterations of brain function resulting from exposure to mixed frequencies
of ELF radiation. One physiological effect which has been demonstrated is
heart seizure on humans, dogs, and cats.
Another possibility is the alteration of the blood-brain barrier. This could
allow neurotoxins in the blood to cross. As a result, an individual could
develop severe neuropathological symptoms and either die or become seriously
impaired neurologically.

theta and alpha states. Generally, specific brain wave frequency ranges

be associated with creative and insightful thought. When an artist, scientist,
or hacker has the "aha" experience, there is a good chance he or she is in
"theta mode".
- Alpha frequencies are from 8-12 Hertz and are commonly associated with relaxed,
meditative states. Most people are in an alpha state during the short time
immediately before they fall asleep and when the conscious nervous system switches
over to the subconscious.
- Beta frequencies are about 12 Hertz and coincide with our most "awake" analytical
thinking. For example; if you're solving a math problem, your brain is working
at beta frequencies. Most of our waking hours as adults are spent in the beta
state.
Medical Implications of Extremely Low Frequencies:
- Over-exposure to ELF radiation can cause loss of short/long term memory
- Causes skin problems
- Weaken the immune system (is there a link between ELF radiation and AIDS?)

The equipment required for this experiment was easily attainable,
with the notable exception of a stable frequency counter with .01 Hertz resolution.
Accurate frequency measurements were essential for this research,
so I designed and built a digital frequency counter capable of
measuring frequency to the hundredth of a Hertz (plus or minus .005 Hertz).
A 100 KHz crystal Colpitt's oscillator (calibrated with WWV) was
used as a time base and divided by ten to the seventh power to attain
the desired resolution.

The transducer was a 24" diameter hand-wound coil, consisting
of 1000' of #25 magnetic wire. The coil had a DC resistance of
32.4 ohms. It was mounted on a 26" square piece of bakalite board
for stability. Two dowels were mounted with plastic ties onto the
board so they extended 24" from opposite sides of the board and
the entire apparatus was secured by two microphone stands.

Tense nervous headache? Always run down and irritable? Not feeling yourself? Well maybe that’s because you’re not yourself, rather, you are being controlled from somewhere else by someone or something else.
A few years ago the BBC program “Tomorrow’s World” featured a man whose Parkinson’s Disease symptoms could be controlled by pressing a switch on a handset which in turn operated a tiny device implanted into his brain. No more shaking, no more tears. This is the friendly, caring side of neural implants, but many people believe that dark forces are at work, trying to take over the minds of their targeted subjects via tiny objects inserted into various parts of the body. Even worse, these sinister controllers are beaming strong electromagnetic rays into the minds of innocent victims, influencing their thoughts and emotions.
These shadowy forces take many forms; some say that it’s intelligence agencies like the CIA; others that it’s a secret cabal plotting for control of the world’s population; still others that it’s malicious aliens, the Greys, who use implants as tracking devices so that they can abduct and control their hapless victims anytime and anyplace.
Warnings of new forms of mind control are not just the rantings of so-called ‘conspiracy theorists’ and ‘paranoid cranks’. Nature1 reports on developments in neuroscience as “posing a potential threat to human rights…” Jean-Pierre Changeux, a neuroscientist at the Institut Pasteur in Paris, told a meeting of the French national bioethics committee that advances in cerebral imagining make the scope for invasion of privacy immense. He said that although the equipment needed is still highly specialised, it will become commonplace and capable of being used at a distance. That will open the way for abuses such as invasion of personal liberty, control of behaviour and brainwashing. Denis LeBihan, a researcher at the French Atomic Energy Commission, told the meeting that the use of imaging techniques has reached the stage where “we can almost read people’s thoughts.”
Behavioural Control
American interest in the hypnosis-EMR [electromagnetic radiation] interaction was still strong as of 1974, when a research plan was filed to develop useful techniques in human volunteers. The experimenter, J.F. Schapitz, stated: “In this investigation it will be shown that the spoken word of the hypnotist may also be conveyed by modulated electromagnetic energy directly into the subconscious parts of the human brain — i.e., without employing any technical devices for receiving or transcoding the messages and without the person exposed to such influence having a chance to control the information input consciously”.2

Although our modern electronic age has been in existence only since the turn of this century, individuals have claimed that their minds were being remotely influenced and controlled by machines for at least two centuries.
Recorded way back in 1810 is the case of James Tilly Matthews, a London tea broker, who claimed his mind was being controlled by a gang operating a machine he called an “Air Loom” which sent out invisible, magnetic rays from a London cellar. Matthews believed machines like the Air Loom were also controlling the minds of members of the British Parliament. He wrote letters to the MPs warning them about the machines and the conspiracy behind it. Matthews was committed to Bethlem Hospital as being insane.3
It might be easy to dismiss Matthews’ claims of a machine that can control one’s mind because of the early date. However, his is by no means an isolated case.
In 1994 Ronald K. Siegel, a Associate Research Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at UCLA, wrote Whispers: The Voices of Paranoia.4 Dr. Siegel, an expert on hallucinations, edited a book on this subject in 1975 with Louis Jolyn West of MKULTRA fame.5
MKULTRA, as well as projects BLUEBIRD, ARTI-CHOKE, CHATTER, CASTI-GATE, MKDELTA, MKNAOMI, THIRD CHANCE, MKSEARCH, MKOFTEN, etc., were covert CIA projects involving many prominent members and institutions of the medical and scientific communities to investigate and experiment with various forms of behaviour modification and control using, in many cases, unwitting human subjects. In operation from the late 1940’s until the early 1970’s, they delved into everything from drugs to hypnosis to electronics.6
Whispers is a collection of case histories of mind control, (or ‘paranoia’ as he calls it) studied by Siegel. One case concerned a man named Tolman who believed his mind was being controlled by computers via a satellite system named POSSE (Personal Orbiting Satellite for Surveillance and Enforcement). Interestingly, author Dorothy Burdick, in her 1982 book Such Things Are Known described what she claimed was her mind control harassment by computers via satellites. She names Siegel as being the inventor of a device named FOCUS (Flexible Optical Control Unit Simulator) which can project hallucinations directly onto the retina so the subjects can’t distinguish the images from reality.7 In Siegel’s book Tolman claims images are being directly transmitted into his brain. Siegel says, “You mean to tell me that here are machines capable of sending visual images directly into the brain?”8
In 1968 Siegel published a professional paper titled “A Device for Chronically Controlled Visual Input” which is a description of a device he developed to project images directly into the brain of experimental animals via the optic nerve. He suggests further experimentation be “conducted on neonates (kittens) which have their total visual stimulation controlled from the time they open their eyes.”9
Thirty years later a team of US scientists wired a computer to a cat’s brain and created videos of what the cat was seeing. One of the scientists working on the project, Garret Stanley of Harvard University, predicts machines with brain interfaces. We can only imagine how far such technology has advanced in the secret research laboratories of the US government and the military/industrial complex.
Unlike Matthews, today’s victims can point to a wealth of documentation confirming how government agencies and research centres have been developing technologies and methods with the same capabilities that people have been describing for two centuries. These technologies involve elements of psychology, hypnosis, political conspiracies, and even devices that emit “rays” to control the behaviour of others without their knowledge or consent.
Biological Process Control
In 1996, the US Air Force Scientific Advisory Board published a 14-volume study of future developments in weapons called New World Vistas. Tucked away on page 89 of an ancillary 15th volume are some hair-raising insights into the future ‘coupling’ of man and machine in a section dealing with ‘Biological Process Control’. The author refers to an ‘explosion’ of knowledge in the field of neuroscience, adding, ominously:
One can envision the development of electromagnetic energy sources, the output of which can be pulsed, shaped, and focused, that can couple with the human body in a fashion that will allow one to prevent voluntary muscular movements, control emotions (and thus actions), produce sleep, transmit suggestions, interfere with both short-term and long-term memory, produce an experience set, and delete an experience set.
Translating the words ‘experience set’ from military jargon into plain English, this means, simply, that they envisage the ability to erase your life’s memories and substitute a new, fictitious set.
By projecting such developments into the future, the authors of New Vistas are camouflaging present day capabilities. A similar futuristic scenario with many references to mind manipulation is described in The Revolution in Military Affairs and Conflict Short of War (US Army War College, 1994). Authors Steven Metz and James Kievit declare: “Behaviour modification is a key component of peace enforcement” and “The advantage of [using] directed energy systems is deniability.” The authors ask: “Against whom is such deniability aimed?” The direct answer is “the American people”.
Set in the year 2010, Metz and Kievit write of “perception moulding” and “advanced psycho-technologies” to avoid irksome public protest, but that is just the beginning. The major obstacle, they believe, is that “traditional American ethics [are] a major hindrance,” and thus, sadly “old-fashioned notions of personal privacy and national sovereignty [are to be] changed.”
The future presented by Metz and Kievit sounds like a mixture of George Orwell’s 1984 and the recent movie The Matrix. Individuals unwilling to go along with the revolutionary changes are “identified using comprehensive inter-agency integrated databases.” They will then be “categorized” and “sophisticated computerized personality simulations” will be used “to develop, tailor and focus psychological campaigns for [ie. against] each.”
Other techniques to be used in association with these new mind weapons include ‘morphing’, a present-day ability that controls the distortion of TV images. So, if you are lucky enough not to have your brain electronically scrambled or erased, the electronic news media will be manipulated especially for you, presenting convincing near-real-life visual images through your combined TV set-cum-internet interface.
Silent Sounds
The Silent Sound Spread Spectrum (SSSS) technology, also known as “S-quad”, was developed by Dr. Oliver Lowery of Georgia, USA, and is described in US Patent #5,159,703 as “Silent Subliminal Presentation System.” The abstract for the patent reads:
A silent communications system in which nonaural carriers, in the very low or very high audio-frequency range or in the adjacent ultrasonic frequency spectrum are amplitude- or frequency-modulated with the desired intelligence and propagated acoustically or vibrationally, for inducement into the brain, typically through the use of loudspeakers, earphones, or piezoelectric transducers. The modulated carriers may be transmitted directly in real time or may be conveniently recorded and stored on mechanical, magnetic or optical media for delayed or repeated transmission to the listener.
According to literature by Silent Sounds, Inc., it is now possible, using supercomputers, to analyse human emotional EEG patterns and replicate them, then store these “emotion signature clusters” on another computer and, at will, “silently induce and change the emotional state in a human being.”
Judy Wall, writing in Nexus (October-November 1998), says “Silent Sounds, Inc. states that it is interested only in positive emotions, but the military is not so limited. That this is a US Department of Defense project is obvious.”
Edward Tilton, President of Silent Sounds Inc., says this about S-quad in a letter dated 13 December, 1996:
All schematics, however, have been classified by the US Government and we are not allowed to reveal the exact details… we make tapes and CDs for the German Government, even the former Soviet Union countries! All with the permission of the US State Department, of course… The system was used throughout Operation Desert Storm (Iraq) quite successfully.
By using these computer-enhanced EEGs, scientists can identify and isolate the brain’s low-amplitude “emotion signature clusters”, synthesise them and store them on another computer. In other words, by studying the subtle characteristic brainwave patterns that occur when a subject experiences a particular emotion, scientists have been able to identify the concomitant brainwave pattern and can now duplicate it. “These clusters are then placed on the Silent Sound carrier frequencies and will silently trigger the occurrence of the same basic emotion in another human being!”
Synthetic Telepathy
Synthetic telepathy is a term used to describe the beaming of words, thoughts, or ideas into a person’s mind by mechanical means, specifically, some type of electromagnetic transmitter, similar to a radio or television broadcast, operating in the microwave frequency band. In recent years thousands of people have come forward claiming to be victims of this frightening technology.
The first officially reported scientific experi-ment documenting a case of synthetic telepathy cannot be found in the academic literature because of the highly secretive nature of the research.
In 1961 Allen Frey, a freelance biophysicist and engineering psychologist, reported that a human can hear microwaves.10 This discovery was dismissed by most United States scientists as being the result of artifact (outside noise).
The more technical description of the experiment is described by James C. Linn.11
Frey... found that human subjects exposed to 1310 MHz and 2982 MHz microwaves at average power densities of 0.4 to 2 mW/cm2 perceived auditory sensations described as buzzing or knocking sounds (also described as clicks or chirps).
The peak power densities were on the order of 200 to 300 mW/cm2 and the pulse repetition frequencies varied from 200 to 400 Hz... Frey referred to this auditory phenomenon as the RF (radio frequency) sound. The sensation occurred instantaneously at average incident power densities well below that necessary for known biological damage and appeared to originate from within or near the back of the head.
Further testing revealed that two requirements were necessary for the subject to hear the microwave induced sound: “good bone conduction and the ability to hear acoustic energy above 5 kHz...”
By 1975 the introduction to a paper by A.W. Guy and others begins, “One of the most widely observed and accepted biologic effects of low average power electromagnetic (EM) energy is the auditory sensation evoked in man when exposed to pulsed microwaves.”12
Present day US Government use of synthetic telepathy was described in the October-November 1994 issue of Nexus:
Directed-energy weapons currently being deployed include, for example, a micro-wave weapon manufactured by Lockheed-Sanders and used for a process known as ‘Voice Synthesis’ which is remote beaming of audio (i.e., voices or other audible signals) directly into the brain of any selected human target. This process is also known within the US Government as ‘Synthetic Telepathy’.
Microwave Zapping
Much of the work done with microwaves was developed by Project Pandora, which was put into place by the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research to study the effects of microwaves that were being beamed into the American Embassy in Moscow by the Russians. Some of the findings of the scientists involved with Pandora are quite disturbing. Dr. Joseph C. Sharp and engineer Mark Grove were able to hear and distinguish one-syllable words by pulse-modulated microwaves.13
Microwaves can also alter the permeability of the body’s blood-brain barrier,14 which can synergistically increase the effects of drugs, as the military is well aware. “Using relatively low-level RFR, it may be possible to sensitise large military groups to extremely dispersed amounts of biological or chemical agents to which the unirradiated population would be immune.”15
Sound can be transmitted even easier through the use of implants – cochlear implants, implants that send electrical signals into the fluid of the inner ear, or implants that transmit sound vibrations via bone conduction, such as the cases of dental fillings picking up audible radio signals. The stimoceiver, invented by Dr. Jose Delgado, consists of wires running from strategic points in the brain to a radio receiver/transmitter located entirely under the skin. Through this device, Delgado was able to stimulate raw emotions such as arousal, anxiety, and aggression with the turn of a knob.16
Of course, secret research by the US Government into microwaves and synthetic telepathy has moved on considerably since the end of the Cold War.
McVeigh: Manchurian Candidate?
Among the many telemetry instruments being used today, are miniature radio transmitters that can be swallowed, carried externally, or surgically implanted.... They permit the simultaneous study of behaviour and physiological functioning.

While visiting friends in Decker, Michigan, Timothy McVeigh complained that the Army had implanted him with a microchip, a miniature subcutaneous transponder, so that they could keep track of him. He complained that it left an unexplained scar on his buttocks and was painful to sit on. McVeigh was convicted of the 1995 bombing of a US Government building in Oklahoma City.
Miniaturised telemetrics have been part of an ongoing project by the military and the various intelligence agencies to test the effectiveness of tracking soldiers on the battlefield. The miniature implantable telemetric device was declassified long ago.
According to Dr. Carl Sanders, the developer of the Intelligence Manned Interface (IMI) biochip, “We used this with military personnel in the Iraq War where they were actually tracked using this particular type of device.”
It is also interesting to note that the Calspan Advanced Technology Centre in Buffalo, NY (Calspan ATC), where McVeigh worked, is engaged in microscopic electronic engineering of the kind applicable to telemetrics. Calspan was founded in 1946 as Cornell Aeronautical Laboratory, which included the “Fund for the Study of Human Ecology,” a CIA financing conduit for mind control experiments by emigre Nazi scientists and others under the direction of CIA doctors Sidney Gottlieb, Ewen Cameron, and Louis Jolyn West.
According to mind control researcher Alex Constantine, “Calspan places much research emphasis on bioengineering and artificial intelligence (Calspan pioneered the field in the 1950s).” In his article, “The Good Soldier,” Constantine states:
Human tracking and monitoring technology are well within Calspan’s sphere of pursuits. The company is instrumental in REDCAP, an Air Force electronic warfare system that winds through every Department of Defense facility in the country. A Pentagon release explains that REDCAP “is used to evaluate the effectiveness of electronic-combat hardware, techniques, tactics and concepts.” The system “includes closed-loop radar and data links at RF manned data fusion and weapons control posts.” One Patriot computer news board reported that a disembodied, rumbling, low-frequency hum had been heard across the country the week of the [Oklahoma] bombing. Past hums in Taos, New Mexico, Eugene and Medford, Oregon, Timmons, Ontario and Bristol, England were most definitely (despite specious official denials) attuned to the brain’s auditory pathways.
The Air Force is among Calspan’s leading clients, and Eglin AFB has farmed key personnel to the company. The grating irony — recalling McVeigh’s contention he’d been implanted with a telemetry chip — is that the Instrumentation Technology Branch of Eglin Air Force Base is currently engaged in the tracking of mammals with subminiature telemetry devices. According to an Air Force press release, the biotelemetry chip transmits on the upper S-band (2318 to 2398 MHz), with up to 120 digital channels.
There is nothing secret about the biotelemetry chip. Ads for commercial versions of the device have appeared in national publications. Time magazine ran an ad for an implantable pet transponder in its 26 June, 1995 issue — ironically enough — opposite an article about a militia leader who was warning about the coming New World Order. While monitoring animals has been an unclassified scientific pursuit for decades, the monitoring of humans has been a highly classified project that is but a subset of the Pentagon’s “nonlethal” arsenal. As Constantine notes, “the dystopian implications were explored by Defense News for 20 March, 1995:
Naval Research Lab Attempts To Meld Neurons And Chips:
Studies May Produce Army of ‘Zombies.’
Future battles could be waged with genetically engineered organisms, such as rodents, whose minds are controlled by computer chips engineered with living brain cells.... The research, called Hippo-campal Neuron Patterning, grows live neurons on computer chips. “This technology that alters neurons could potentially be used on people to create zombie armies,” Lawrence Korb, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, said.
“It’s conceivable,” according to Constantine, “given the current state of the electronic mind control art, a biocybernetic Oz over the black budget rainbow, that McVeigh had been drawn into an experimental project, that the device was the real McCoy.” Timothy McVeigh may have unknowningly been an Army/CIA guinea pig involved in a classified telemetric/mind-control project — a “Manchurian Candidate.”
Soviet Research
A highly secretive battle was being waged behind the scenes during the Cold War in the area of EM weapons (sometimes described as psychotronics) to control and influence the minds of people. It’s only now that some of this research has emerged, but much of it remains hidden and classified. In fact, we know more about Soviet research into this area because it was the Soviet Union that collapsed.
A 1975 issue of the Soviet publication International Life, discussing electronic mind control developments, stated that atmospheric electricity can be used “to suppress the mental activity” of large groups of people. The Soviet journal said that a sonic generator, tuned to an infrasound (below the hearing level) frequency, could create “feelings of depression, fear, panic, terror, and despair.”
In 1977, the US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) declassified a report describing how advances in Soviet psychotronic technology can create the ultimate big brother society, by using electronic mind control against populations to implant ideas and thoughts into the heads of unsuspecting victims: “Sounds and possibly even words, which appear to be originating intracranially (within one’s own head), can be induced by signal modification at very low average power densities.”
The DIA report also said that the Soviets discovered that secret microwave radiation can be used to induce in unsuspecting victims: “Headache, fatigue, perspiring, dizziness, menstrual disorders, irritability, agitation, tension, drowsiness, sleeplessness, depression, anxiety, forgetfulness, and the lack of concentration.”
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, in a manoeuvre identical to Operation Paperclip in World War II,17 Western intelligence agencies obtained all the Soviet research and recruited key personnel working in this sensitive area. Russian research has now all but stopped due to economic crises.
A report in Defense Electronics in the early 1990s said that a Richmond, Virginia firm, Psychotechnologies (believed to be closely tied to the CIA and the FBI) purchased the American rights to Soviet mind control devices.
Defense Electronics described a spring, 1993 meeting between Clinton Administration officials and Soviet psychotronics experts, including Dr. Igor Smirnov. Amongst the US agencies represented at the meetings with Smirnov were the FBI, the CIA, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and the Advance Research Projects Research Agency. Clinton Administration officials wanted “to determine whether psycho-correction... programs could be undertaken by the US Government. These devices could be used to affect judgment or opinion of decision-makers, key personnel or populaces.”
Clinton defense officials expressed interest that the psychotronic devices could be used “in non-violently” clearing areas of potential enemies, snipers, etc. On the domestic front, psychotronic devices could be used to suppress political dissidents, and any other potential threats to the New World Order.
Also meeting with the Soviet experts were officials from giant international corporations, such as General Motors, and researchers from the National Institute of Mental Health. The 22 August, 1994 Newsweek magazine reported on a secret Arlington, Virginia meeting between experts from the FBI’s Counter-Terrorism Centre and Dr. Smirnov, whose work was described in the publication:
...Using electroencephalographs, Smirnov measures brain waves, then uses computers to create a map of the subconscious and various human impulses, such as anger or the sex drive. Then through taped subliminal messages, he claims to physically alter the landscape with the power of suggestion.
Psychotronic Weapons Research
One man’s name has become synonymous with the field of non-lethal weapons development. Col. John Alexander first became known to the public through his December, 1980 Military Review article titled, “The New Mental Battlefield.” This article clearly describes the lethal nature of many of the so-called “non-lethal” weapons now being developed to control civilian populations. Alexander noted:
Psychotronics may be described as the interaction of mind and matter… The possibility for employment as weaponry has been explored. To be more specific, there are weapons systems that operate on the power of the mind and whose lethal capacity has already been demonstrated.
Describing Soviet development of psychotronic weapons, Alexander stated: “The ability to... cause death can be transmitted over distances, thus inducing illness or death for no apparent reason.” These “weapons would be able to induce illness or death at little or no risk to the operator... The psychotronic weapon would be silent (and) difficult to detect...”
Powerful elite insiders have long known how electromagnetic weapons can be effectively utilised to wage mind control against the population, specifically targeting political dissidents and troublemakers. What of the numerous political activists and investigative journalists who died under mysterious circumstances, many from rare forms of cancer? Could they have been ‘taken out’ by psychotronic weapons? We can only imagine how advanced this technology is today.
President Lyndon Johnson’s Science Adviser, Dr. Gordon J.F. MacDonald wrote the 1968 book, Unless Peace Comes, A Scientific Forecast Of New Weapons.
MacDonald described how man-made changes in the electrical earth ionosphere can be used for mass behaviour control. He said that low frequency electromagnetic oscillations can attack the low frequency electromagnetic brain waves in human beings. He stated, “Perturbation of the environment (by geophysical warfare) can produce changes in behavioural patterns.”
In his 1970 book, Between Two Ages, Zbigniew Brezezinski (a long-time Establishment strategist) described “weather control” as a “new weapon” that is a “key element of strategy.” He added:
Technology will make available, to leaders of major nations, a variety of techniques for conducting secret warfare, of which only a bare minimum of the security forces need to be appraised.
Brzezinski predicted the exact types of electromagnetic psychotronic weapons that the US Administration is now developing for mass behaviour control of citizens. He stated:
It is possible — and tempting — to exploit, for strategic-political purposes, the fruits of research on the brain and on human behaviour... Accurately timed, artificially excited electronic strokes could lead to a pattern of oscillations that produce relatively high power levels over certain regions of the earth... In this way, one could develop a system that would seriously impair the brain performance of a very large population in selected regions, over an extended period.
Ultimate Threat to Freedom
As this is being written mankind faces the ultimate threat to what remains of individual liberty and freedom. Our right, our heritage of free will and creative thought is in danger of being permanently denied by insidious technology in the hands of New World Order elitists and their minions who serve a spiritual conspiracy that dwells within, and can be aided by, each of us. It is up to each and every one us to fully resist – on all levels of our being – the attempts by these evil forces to control our thoughts, emotions and actions.
But does this conspiracy extend much further than mere man-made political and economic forces? What of the evidence for a metaphysical component that is working behind the scenes? This question will be dealt with in Part Two of this article.
Part Two of this article will deal with alien abduction,
implants and the occult/psychic warfare being waged
to control the minds of the world’s population.

Tense nervous headache? Always run down and irritable? Not feeling yourself? Well maybe that’s because you’re not yourself, rather, you are being controlled from somewhere else by someone or something else.
A few years ago the BBC program “Tomorrow’s World” featured a man whose Parkinson’s Disease symptoms could be controlled by pressing a switch on a handset which in turn operated a tiny device implanted into his brain. No more shaking, no more tears. This is the friendly, caring side of neural implants, but many people believe that dark forces are at work, trying to take over the minds of their targeted subjects via tiny objects inserted into various parts of the body. Even worse, these sinister controllers are beaming strong electromagnetic rays into the minds of innocent victims, influencing their thoughts and emotions.
These shadowy forces take many forms; some say that it’s intelligence agencies like the CIA; others that it’s a secret cabal plotting for control of the world’s population; still others that it’s malicious aliens, the Greys, who use implants as tracking devices so that they can abduct and control their hapless victims anytime and anyplace.
Warnings of new forms of mind control are not just the rantings of so-called ‘conspiracy theorists’ and ‘paranoid cranks’. Nature1 reports on developments in neuroscience as “posing a potential threat to human rights…” Jean-Pierre Changeux, a neuroscientist at the Institut Pasteur in Paris, told a meeting of the French national bioethics committee that advances in cerebral imagining make the scope for invasion of privacy immense. He said that although the equipment needed is still highly specialised, it will become commonplace and capable of being used at a distance. That will open the way for abuses such as invasion of personal liberty, control of behaviour and brainwashing. Denis LeBihan, a researcher at the French Atomic Energy Commission, told the meeting that the use of imaging techniques has reached the stage where “we can almost read people’s thoughts.”
Behavioural Control
American interest in the hypnosis-EMR [electromagnetic radiation] interaction was still strong as of 1974, when a research plan was filed to develop useful techniques in human volunteers. The experimenter, J.F. Schapitz, stated: “In this investigation it will be shown that the spoken word of the hypnotist may also be conveyed by modulated electromagnetic energy directly into the subconscious parts of the human brain — i.e., without employing any technical devices for receiving or transcoding the messages and without the person exposed to such influence having a chance to control the information input consciously”.2

Although our modern electronic age has been in existence only since the turn of this century, individuals have claimed that their minds were being remotely influenced and controlled by machines for at least two centuries.
Recorded way back in 1810 is the case of James Tilly Matthews, a London tea broker, who claimed his mind was being controlled by a gang operating a machine he called an “Air Loom” which sent out invisible, magnetic rays from a London cellar. Matthews believed machines like the Air Loom were also controlling the minds of members of the British Parliament. He wrote letters to the MPs warning them about the machines and the conspiracy behind it. Matthews was committed to Bethlem Hospital as being insane.3
It might be easy to dismiss Matthews’ claims of a machine that can control one’s mind because of the early date. However, his is by no means an isolated case.
In 1994 Ronald K. Siegel, a Associate Research Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at UCLA, wrote Whispers: The Voices of Paranoia.4 Dr. Siegel, an expert on hallucinations, edited a book on this subject in 1975 with Louis Jolyn West of MKULTRA fame.5
MKULTRA, as well as projects BLUEBIRD, ARTI-CHOKE, CHATTER, CASTI-GATE, MKDELTA, MKNAOMI, THIRD CHANCE, MKSEARCH, MKOFTEN, etc., were covert CIA projects involving many prominent members and institutions of the medical and scientific communities to investigate and experiment with various forms of behaviour modification and control using, in many cases, unwitting human subjects. In operation from the late 1940’s until the early 1970’s, they delved into everything from drugs to hypnosis to electronics.6
Whispers is a collection of case histories of mind control, (or ‘paranoia’ as he calls it) studied by Siegel. One case concerned a man named Tolman who believed his mind was being controlled by computers via a satellite system named POSSE (Personal Orbiting Satellite for Surveillance and Enforcement). Interestingly, author Dorothy Burdick, in her 1982 book Such Things Are Known described what she claimed was her mind control harassment by computers via satellites. She names Siegel as being the inventor of a device named FOCUS (Flexible Optical Control Unit Simulator) which can project hallucinations directly onto the retina so the subjects can’t distinguish the images from reality.7 In Siegel’s book Tolman claims images are being directly transmitted into his brain. Siegel says, “You mean to tell me that here are machines capable of sending visual images directly into the brain?”8
In 1968 Siegel published a professional paper titled “A Device for Chronically Controlled Visual Input” which is a description of a device he developed to project images directly into the brain of experimental animals via the optic nerve. He suggests further experimentation be “conducted on neonates (kittens) which have their total visual stimulation controlled from the time they open their eyes.”9
Thirty years later a team of US scientists wired a computer to a cat’s brain and created videos of what the cat was seeing. One of the scientists working on the project, Garret Stanley of Harvard University, predicts machines with brain interfaces. We can only imagine how far such technology has advanced in the secret research laboratories of the US government and the military/industrial complex.
Unlike Matthews, today’s victims can point to a wealth of documentation confirming how government agencies and research centres have been developing technologies and methods with the same capabilities that people have been describing for two centuries. These technologies involve elements of psychology, hypnosis, political conspiracies, and even devices that emit “rays” to control the behaviour of others without their knowledge or consent.
Biological Process Control
In 1996, the US Air Force Scientific Advisory Board published a 14-volume study of future developments in weapons called New World Vistas. Tucked away on page 89 of an ancillary 15th volume are some hair-raising insights into the future ‘coupling’ of man and machine in a section dealing with ‘Biological Process Control’. The author refers to an ‘explosion’ of knowledge in the field of neuroscience, adding, ominously:
One can envision the development of electromagnetic energy sources, the output of which can be pulsed, shaped, and focused, that can couple with the human body in a fashion that will allow one to prevent voluntary muscular movements, control emotions (and thus actions), produce sleep, transmit suggestions, interfere with both short-term and long-term memory, produce an experience set, and delete an experience set.
Translating the words ‘experience set’ from military jargon into plain English, this means, simply, that they envisage the ability to erase your life’s memories and substitute a new, fictitious set.
By projecting such developments into the future, the authors of New Vistas are camouflaging present day capabilities. A similar futuristic scenario with many references to mind manipulation is described in The Revolution in Military Affairs and Conflict Short of War (US Army War College, 1994). Authors Steven Metz and James Kievit declare: “Behaviour modification is a key component of peace enforcement” and “The advantage of [using] directed energy systems is deniability.” The authors ask: “Against whom is such deniability aimed?” The direct answer is “the American people”.
Set in the year 2010, Metz and Kievit write of “perception moulding” and “advanced psycho-technologies” to avoid irksome public protest, but that is just the beginning. The major obstacle, they believe, is that “traditional American ethics [are] a major hindrance,” and thus, sadly “old-fashioned notions of personal privacy and national sovereignty [are to be] changed.”
The future presented by Metz and Kievit sounds like a mixture of George Orwell’s 1984 and the recent movie The Matrix. Individuals unwilling to go along with the revolutionary changes are “identified using comprehensive inter-agency integrated databases.” They will then be “categorized” and “sophisticated computerized personality simulations” will be used “to develop, tailor and focus psychological campaigns for [ie. against] each.”
Other techniques to be used in association with these new mind weapons include ‘morphing’, a present-day ability that controls the distortion of TV images. So, if you are lucky enough not to have your brain electronically scrambled or erased, the electronic news media will be manipulated especially for you, presenting convincing near-real-life visual images through your combined TV set-cum-internet interface.
Silent Sounds
The Silent Sound Spread Spectrum (SSSS) technology, also known as “S-quad”, was developed by Dr. Oliver Lowery of Georgia, USA, and is described in US Patent #5,159,703 as “Silent Subliminal Presentation System.” The abstract for the patent reads:
A silent communications system in which nonaural carriers, in the very low or very high audio-frequency range or in the adjacent ultrasonic frequency spectrum are amplitude- or frequency-modulated with the desired intelligence and propagated acoustically or vibrationally, for inducement into the brain, typically through the use of loudspeakers, earphones, or piezoelectric transducers. The modulated carriers may be transmitted directly in real time or may be conveniently recorded and stored on mechanical, magnetic or optical media for delayed or repeated transmission to the listener.
According to literature by Silent Sounds, Inc., it is now possible, using supercomputers, to analyse human emotional EEG patterns and replicate them, then store these “emotion signature clusters” on another computer and, at will, “silently induce and change the emotional state in a human being.”
Judy Wall, writing in Nexus (October-November 1998), says “Silent Sounds, Inc. states that it is interested only in positive emotions, but the military is not so limited. That this is a US Department of Defense project is obvious.”
Edward Tilton, President of Silent Sounds Inc., says this about S-quad in a letter dated 13 December, 1996:
All schematics, however, have been classified by the US Government and we are not allowed to reveal the exact details… we make tapes and CDs for the German Government, even the former Soviet Union countries! All with the permission of the US State Department, of course… The system was used throughout Operation Desert Storm (Iraq) quite successfully.
By using these computer-enhanced EEGs, scientists can identify and isolate the brain’s low-amplitude “emotion signature clusters”, synthesise them and store them on another computer. In other words, by studying the subtle characteristic brainwave patterns that occur when a subject experiences a particular emotion, scientists have been able to identify the concomitant brainwave pattern and can now duplicate it. “These clusters are then placed on the Silent Sound carrier frequencies and will silently trigger the occurrence of the same basic emotion in another human being!”
Synthetic Telepathy
Synthetic telepathy is a term used to describe the beaming of words, thoughts, or ideas into a person’s mind by mechanical means, specifically, some type of electromagnetic transmitter, similar to a radio or television broadcast, operating in the microwave frequency band. In recent years thousands of people have come forward claiming to be victims of this frightening technology.
The first officially reported scientific experi-ment documenting a case of synthetic telepathy cannot be found in the academic literature because of the highly secretive nature of the research.
In 1961 Allen Frey, a freelance biophysicist and engineering psychologist, reported that a human can hear microwaves.10 This discovery was dismissed by most United States scientists as being the result of artifact (outside noise).
The more technical description of the experiment is described by James C. Linn.11
Frey... found that human subjects exposed to 1310 MHz and 2982 MHz microwaves at average power densities of 0.4 to 2 mW/cm2 perceived auditory sensations described as buzzing or knocking sounds (also described as clicks or chirps).
The peak power densities were on the order of 200 to 300 mW/cm2 and the pulse repetition frequencies varied from 200 to 400 Hz... Frey referred to this auditory phenomenon as the RF (radio frequency) sound. The sensation occurred instantaneously at average incident power densities well below that necessary for known biological damage and appeared to originate from within or near the back of the head.
Further testing revealed that two requirements were necessary for the subject to hear the microwave induced sound: “good bone conduction and the ability to hear acoustic energy above 5 kHz...”
By 1975 the introduction to a paper by A.W. Guy and others begins, “One of the most widely observed and accepted biologic effects of low average power electromagnetic (EM) energy is the auditory sensation evoked in man when exposed to pulsed microwaves.”12
Present day US Government use of synthetic telepathy was described in the October-November 1994 issue of Nexus:
Directed-energy weapons currently being deployed include, for example, a micro-wave weapon manufactured by Lockheed-Sanders and used for a process known as ‘Voice Synthesis’ which is remote beaming of audio (i.e., voices or other audible signals) directly into the brain of any selected human target. This process is also known within the US Government as ‘Synthetic Telepathy’.
Microwave Zapping
Much of the work done with microwaves was developed by Project Pandora, which was put into place by the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research to study the effects of microwaves that were being beamed into the American Embassy in Moscow by the Russians. Some of the findings of the scientists involved with Pandora are quite disturbing. Dr. Joseph C. Sharp and engineer Mark Grove were able to hear and distinguish one-syllable words by pulse-modulated microwaves.13
Microwaves can also alter the permeability of the body’s blood-brain barrier,14 which can synergistically increase the effects of drugs, as the military is well aware. “Using relatively low-level RFR, it may be possible to sensitise large military groups to extremely dispersed amounts of biological or chemical agents to which the unirradiated population would be immune.”15
Sound can be transmitted even easier through the use of implants – cochlear implants, implants that send electrical signals into the fluid of the inner ear, or implants that transmit sound vibrations via bone conduction, such as the cases of dental fillings picking up audible radio signals. The stimoceiver, invented by Dr. Jose Delgado, consists of wires running from strategic points in the brain to a radio receiver/transmitter located entirely under the skin. Through this device, Delgado was able to stimulate raw emotions such as arousal, anxiety, and aggression with the turn of a knob.16
Of course, secret research by the US Government into microwaves and synthetic telepathy has moved on considerably since the end of the Cold War.
McVeigh: Manchurian Candidate?
Among the many telemetry instruments being used today, are miniature radio transmitters that can be swallowed, carried externally, or surgically implanted.... They permit the simultaneous study of behaviour and physiological functioning.

While visiting friends in Decker, Michigan, Timothy McVeigh complained that the Army had implanted him with a microchip, a miniature subcutaneous transponder, so that they could keep track of him. He complained that it left an unexplained scar on his buttocks and was painful to sit on. McVeigh was convicted of the 1995 bombing of a US Government building in Oklahoma City.
Miniaturised telemetrics have been part of an ongoing project by the military and the various intelligence agencies to test the effectiveness of tracking soldiers on the battlefield. The miniature implantable telemetric device was declassified long ago.
According to Dr. Carl Sanders, the developer of the Intelligence Manned Interface (IMI) biochip, “We used this with military personnel in the Iraq War where they were actually tracked using this particular type of device.”
It is also interesting to note that the Calspan Advanced Technology Centre in Buffalo, NY (Calspan ATC), where McVeigh worked, is engaged in microscopic electronic engineering of the kind applicable to telemetrics. Calspan was founded in 1946 as Cornell Aeronautical Laboratory, which included the “Fund for the Study of Human Ecology,” a CIA financing conduit for mind control experiments by emigre Nazi scientists and others under the direction of CIA doctors Sidney Gottlieb, Ewen Cameron, and Louis Jolyn West.
According to mind control researcher Alex Constantine, “Calspan places much research emphasis on bioengineering and artificial intelligence (Calspan pioneered the field in the 1950s).” In his article, “The Good Soldier,” Constantine states:
Human tracking and monitoring technology are well within Calspan’s sphere of pursuits. The company is instrumental in REDCAP, an Air Force electronic warfare system that winds through every Department of Defense facility in the country. A Pentagon release explains that REDCAP “is used to evaluate the effectiveness of electronic-combat hardware, techniques, tactics and concepts.” The system “includes closed-loop radar and data links at RF manned data fusion and weapons control posts.” One Patriot computer news board reported that a disembodied, rumbling, low-frequency hum had been heard across the country the week of the [Oklahoma] bombing. Past hums in Taos, New Mexico, Eugene and Medford, Oregon, Timmons, Ontario and Bristol, England were most definitely (despite specious official denials) attuned to the brain’s auditory pathways.
The Air Force is among Calspan’s leading clients, and Eglin AFB has farmed key personnel to the company. The grating irony — recalling McVeigh’s contention he’d been implanted with a telemetry chip — is that the Instrumentation Technology Branch of Eglin Air Force Base is currently engaged in the tracking of mammals with subminiature telemetry devices. According to an Air Force press release, the biotelemetry chip transmits on the upper S-band (2318 to 2398 MHz), with up to 120 digital channels.
There is nothing secret about the biotelemetry chip. Ads for commercial versions of the device have appeared in national publications. Time magazine ran an ad for an implantable pet transponder in its 26 June, 1995 issue — ironically enough — opposite an article about a militia leader who was warning about the coming New World Order. While monitoring animals has been an unclassified scientific pursuit for decades, the monitoring of humans has been a highly classified project that is but a subset of the Pentagon’s “nonlethal” arsenal. As Constantine notes, “the dystopian implications were explored by Defense News for 20 March, 1995:
Naval Research Lab Attempts To Meld Neurons And Chips:
Studies May Produce Army of ‘Zombies.’
Future battles could be waged with genetically engineered organisms, such as rodents, whose minds are controlled by computer chips engineered with living brain cells.... The research, called Hippo-campal Neuron Patterning, grows live neurons on computer chips. “This technology that alters neurons could potentially be used on people to create zombie armies,” Lawrence Korb, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, said.
“It’s conceivable,” according to Constantine, “given the current state of the electronic mind control art, a biocybernetic Oz over the black budget rainbow, that McVeigh had been drawn into an experimental project, that the device was the real McCoy.” Timothy McVeigh may have unknowningly been an Army/CIA guinea pig involved in a classified telemetric/mind-control project — a “Manchurian Candidate.”
Soviet Research
A highly secretive battle was being waged behind the scenes during the Cold War in the area of EM weapons (sometimes described as psychotronics) to control and influence the minds of people. It’s only now that some of this research has emerged, but much of it remains hidden and classified. In fact, we know more about Soviet research into this area because it was the Soviet Union that collapsed.
A 1975 issue of the Soviet publication International Life, discussing electronic mind control developments, stated that atmospheric electricity can be used “to suppress the mental activity” of large groups of people. The Soviet journal said that a sonic generator, tuned to an infrasound (below the hearing level) frequency, could create “feelings of depression, fear, panic, terror, and despair.”
In 1977, the US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) declassified a report describing how advances in Soviet psychotronic technology can create the ultimate big brother society, by using electronic mind control against populations to implant ideas and thoughts into the heads of unsuspecting victims: “Sounds and possibly even words, which appear to be originating intracranially (within one’s own head), can be induced by signal modification at very low average power densities.”
The DIA report also said that the Soviets discovered that secret microwave radiation can be used to induce in unsuspecting victims: “Headache, fatigue, perspiring, dizziness, menstrual disorders, irritability, agitation, tension, drowsiness, sleeplessness, depression, anxiety, forgetfulness, and the lack of concentration.”
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, in a manoeuvre identical to Operation Paperclip in World War II,17 Western intelligence agencies obtained all the Soviet research and recruited key personnel working in this sensitive area. Russian research has now all but stopped due to economic crises.
A report in Defense Electronics in the early 1990s said that a Richmond, Virginia firm, Psychotechnologies (believed to be closely tied to the CIA and the FBI) purchased the American rights to Soviet mind control devices.
Defense Electronics described a spring, 1993 meeting between Clinton Administration officials and Soviet psychotronics experts, including Dr. Igor Smirnov. Amongst the US agencies represented at the meetings with Smirnov were the FBI, the CIA, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and the Advance Research Projects Research Agency. Clinton Administration officials wanted “to determine whether psycho-correction... programs could be undertaken by the US Government. These devices could be used to affect judgment or opinion of decision-makers, key personnel or populaces.”
Clinton defense officials expressed interest that the psychotronic devices could be used “in non-violently” clearing areas of potential enemies, snipers, etc. On the domestic front, psychotronic devices could be used to suppress political dissidents, and any other potential threats to the New World Order.
Also meeting with the Soviet experts were officials from giant international corporations, such as General Motors, and researchers from the National Institute of Mental Health. The 22 August, 1994 Newsweek magazine reported on a secret Arlington, Virginia meeting between experts from the FBI’s Counter-Terrorism Centre and Dr. Smirnov, whose work was described in the publication:
...Using electroencephalographs, Smirnov measures brain waves, then uses computers to create a map of the subconscious and various human impulses, such as anger or the sex drive. Then through taped subliminal messages, he claims to physically alter the landscape with the power of suggestion.
Psychotronic Weapons Research
One man’s name has become synonymous with the field of non-lethal weapons development. Col. John Alexander first became known to the public through his December, 1980 Military Review article titled, “The New Mental Battlefield.” This article clearly describes the lethal nature of many of the so-called “non-lethal” weapons now being developed to control civilian populations. Alexander noted:
Psychotronics may be described as the interaction of mind and matter… The possibility for employment as weaponry has been explored. To be more specific, there are weapons systems that operate on the power of the mind and whose lethal capacity has already been demonstrated.
Describing Soviet development of psychotronic weapons, Alexander stated: “The ability to... cause death can be transmitted over distances, thus inducing illness or death for no apparent reason.” These “weapons would be able to induce illness or death at little or no risk to the operator... The psychotronic weapon would be silent (and) difficult to detect...”
Powerful elite insiders have long known how electromagnetic weapons can be effectively utilised to wage mind control against the population, specifically targeting political dissidents and troublemakers. What of the numerous political activists and investigative journalists who died under mysterious circumstances, many from rare forms of cancer? Could they have been ‘taken out’ by psychotronic weapons? We can only imagine how advanced this technology is today.
President Lyndon Johnson’s Science Adviser, Dr. Gordon J.F. MacDonald wrote the 1968 book, Unless Peace Comes, A Scientific Forecast Of New Weapons.
MacDonald described how man-made changes in the electrical earth ionosphere can be used for mass behaviour control. He said that low frequency electromagnetic oscillations can attack the low frequency electromagnetic brain waves in human beings. He stated, “Perturbation of the environment (by geophysical warfare) can produce changes in behavioural patterns.”
In his 1970 book, Between Two Ages, Zbigniew Brezezinski (a long-time Establishment strategist) described “weather control” as a “new weapon” that is a “key element of strategy.” He added:
Technology will make available, to leaders of major nations, a variety of techniques for conducting secret warfare, of which only a bare minimum of the security forces need to be appraised.
Brzezinski predicted the exact types of electromagnetic psychotronic weapons that the US Administration is now developing for mass behaviour control of citizens. He stated:
It is possible — and tempting — to exploit, for strategic-political purposes, the fruits of research on the brain and on human behaviour... Accurately timed, artificially excited electronic strokes could lead to a pattern of oscillations that produce relatively high power levels over certain regions of the earth... In this way, one could develop a system that would seriously impair the brain performance of a very large population in selected regions, over an extended period.
Ultimate Threat to Freedom
As this is being written mankind faces the ultimate threat to what remains of individual liberty and freedom. Our right, our heritage of free will and creative thought is in danger of being permanently denied by insidious technology in the hands of New World Order elitists and their minions who serve a spiritual conspiracy that dwells within, and can be aided by, each of us. It is up to each and every one us to fully resist – on all levels of our being – the attempts by these evil forces to control our thoughts, emotions and actions.
But does this conspiracy extend much further than mere man-made political and economic forces? What of the evidence for a metaphysical component that is working behind the scenes? This question will be dealt with in Part Two of this article.
